Michael had his hand over Aria's head as he worked his way through her mind trying to isolate the power surge within, she shook violently. Waves of energy dissipated from her, shaking everything in the room. Anna and Melissa worked on their spell, white tendrils of energy connected to her mind as they tried to channel the power within her. Her whole body was covered in cold sweat.

"Melissa, she's burning up. We need to channel the energy out of her body as fast as we can before it literally burns her." Anna held her hand on Aria's forehead. Stag hovered nearby, he looked at Michael who was working his own spells trying to connect with her.

"My Lady, we don't have much time. I can feel her fading away. Channel the energy through me."

"Stag, you realize what this means, don't you? The back lash would be too much."

The mischief demon grinned, his eyes glowing brighter.

"Oh I would love to see what she throws at me this time." He rubbed his hands together and stretched his arms, preparing his body for the psychic load.

"And We are bound to each other." He held Aria's hand. "Can't leave her like this."

Melissa placed her hand on Stag's large shoulder and smiled before she moved her hands in a wide arc, forming an ethereal circle around them. Adrian and Michael cast a spell forming an energy bridge between Aria and Stag. A faint tunnel of ether formed between them, power flowed through, visible as a streak of gleaming gold the moment it was formed, Stag's eyes opened wide with the sudden shift in power.

"Woooh!!! That was interesting. Okay, let's do this!!" Stag clapped a few times as he narrowed his focus, readying himself. Melissa moved her fingers in a gesture that left a faintly glowing trail above Aria's head, she looked at Michael who nodded back at her before she spoke a word of power. The golden streaks broadened as the power was given a new outlet. Runes on his body glowed bright before Stag started giving off a light of his own, the strain of the enormous energy became apparent. Though in intense pain, Stag let out what seemed like a laugh.

"KEEP IT COMING BABY!" He clenched his fists so hard that his palms started bleeding from the puncture wounds where his claws had dug in. The energy flowed through Aria freely now and the moment it was over, Michael tore open a rift into the limbo.

"Stag, NOW!!!"

The mischief demon struggled but managed to phase through into the rift and Michael closed it as soon as he went through. A blinding column of light escaped through the rift as it sealed itself. The entire room went dark before the illuminating energy spheres around the room manifested again. Aria opened her eyes slowly, her vision to be blurred by the splitting headache that greeted her. She saw her parents sitting next to where she lied and Adrian had his arm around Anna. She looked around but there were no signs of Stag anywhere.

"Stag!!! NOOOOO!!!" She screamed as tears welled up in her eyes. "It's all my fault..."

There was silence in the room for a while before the air shifted, a rift opened up and a blue demon came through. Stag's entire body was covered in black patches from the energy excess, horns were glowing red from the heat with a staggering wisp of smoke rising from their tips. He coughed up thick clouds of black soot. The demon looked at Aria as if nothing had happened while dusting himself off.

"Can we have some food here? I'm starving!"

Aria bolted up and wrapped herself around the demon while everyone took a sigh of relief.

"I'm okay kiddo. I'm okay."

Michael laughed as he came up to Stag and patted on his shoulder hard enough to displace him.
