(Seto's POV)
TWO MONTHS EARLIER
I woke up. My face hurt like the Nether. I groaned and looked around.
"Where am I...?" I cracked out.
I took out the medical things in my arms and stumbled to the wall.
The beeping on heart monitor was just continuing as one long beep.
I fell to the floor. Jason ran in to see me.
"Seto!" he said half worried and half happy.
"A-Adam's... Being con-controlled by the king... H-He's s-stuck somew-where.."
"Where's Ty?!?"
"T-The evil Adam c-convinced h-him to let e-evil Adam be his master..."
"Oh no.. We gotta find Ty and..."
"Adam.. We h-have to find Adam."
"Right yea..."
He looked like he no longer thought of Adam as his friend but his enemy.
"That's not Adam, Jason. You know what right?"
He sighed.
"You don't believe me."
"I.. I don't know who to believe anymore Seto..."
NOW
We hadn't found Ty. More villages were being destroyed everyday. People were now fixing the broken down castles across the land to hide in. Soon enough King, Sky, and Ty -now being called Deadlox- would take over. We don't know if Ty is being controlled or if he is just plain old... Plain old Ty driven to madness by who he thought was his friend Sky. Mitch, Ian, Jerome, and Jason believe Adam is now dead. Husky and I are the only ones who still have hope. Everyone is just in.. Well despair... I feel as if everyday the despair is dragging me into becoming it's new meat puppet but I hold on to as much of the hope as I can.
(Adam's POV)
It had only been a hour and it was probably a week since I saw Ty. I felt like I had been driven to madness.
"Why did you do it...?" I asked no one.
"Because I guessed I'd get to save you." I heard.
I turned around to see Ty. But he was.. Odd.. He was grinning in a creepy way.
"I could just kill you right now and my master would be able to control everything."
He walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders.
"But master doesn't want that. He wants to hear your sounds of suffering. So I listen to master and do whatever he wants."
"Ty's scarier than Sky and heck this is even the real him." I thought.
"Ty what's gotten into you?" I said in a weak voice.
I was tired of everything happening. I took off my amulet and put it around Ty's neck.
"Keep it.."
I realized as I put the amulet on him that I was giving up hope. I turned around and just sat. Staring at my home. I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
"Ty doesn't care about me anymore no one does..." I said.
I just had a spark of hope that I would hear a voice say 'I care about you Adam.' or 'Everything is going to be ok.'. But one never came. I had nothing anymore. Not even my amulet to give me company.
"Hey Ty..." I said.
"Hmm?" I heard.
"What happened after you agreed?"
"I trained. Then I destroyed. Now I rule." he said while his sword was clanging on the ground.
"Did you ever have second thoughts?"
"Not after I became loyal to master!"
"I miss you guys..." I said with a small laugh.
"Hmm? What do you mean master's vessel?"
I cringed at the last sentence.
"I'm just a vessel..." I thought. "He doesn't even remember my name.. Can't blame him. No one cares about me anymore."
"How you guys would laugh at the smallest things. Remember that time when we met?"
"No I do not recall it master's vessel! Deadlox has never seen you until today."
"You were alone at the corner of the room. Everyone thought you were just a depressed little kid but I didn't. I saw you as a nice guy who was just treated horrible. Now your... I don't know what you are.."
I heard snoring behind me. He had fallen asleep. I slept on one of the steps of this small box had. No pillow or anything. After what seemed like seconds I fell asleep.
