Spring Solstice✔

Kai had held jee's hand softly in his own as they both began to leave the school grounds like everyone else.  The loud chatter of everyone seemed normal to them both as they just seemed to worry about getting home on time.

The chatter died down just a little when someone tapped jee's shoulder gently catching the girl's attention. Jee turned around seeing tae-hee nervously look at the pair.

"E-Everyone wants to know if you guys are dating"she shouted her words anxiously as her anxiety seemed to spike up at the heat of the moment.

Jee looks up at kai while he looked down at her and they both shook their heads denying what tae-hee was saying. "Nope, we really are friends"

Kai spoke with a deadpanned voice before A guy named taehyun came up at nudged kai. "Then why are you both holding hands?" 

Kai looked down at his hand holding onto jee's with comfort. He watched as jee removed her hand out of his own, the warmth of it leaving gradually as well as the spring air came in allowing a somewhat cool breeze.

"My hand was cold, Kai was just holding it to keep it warm. Now mind your business"  Jee had turned around with a frown on her face walking off without kai.

She started to think to herself deep in thought not noticing that kai was right beside her again. 'I really do have a crush on the idiot though..but what will the others think? I dont want him to be made fun of when everyone hardly accepts me and others..aish this is hard'

"Jee!" Kai yells the girls name making her panic and her reflexes were to fast for kai to even comprehend because mow he was on the ground with a bruise under his eye.

"Im sorry! I didnt mean too! Are you alright?!"Jee had gotten on her knees looking at kai as he puts a hand under his eyes touching the tender but forming bruise with his finger tips before flinching.

"Aish...it's fine, i just wanted to tell you this is my house." Kai said and he had gotten up as did Jee, She nods and had bitten her bottom lip.

"You can go now, I've got it" kai said going to the gate that protected the front yard of his home.
Jee walked right behind him apologetically before she quickly grabbed his hand.

"At least let me help you look at that, i feel really bad"Jee asked apologetically and kai sighed softly touching the tender space under his eye.

"Sure, come on in." Kai said as he walked up to the front door putting in the password and he opens the door enough for jee to slip through before he, himself goes inside. He takes off his shoes and steps onto the floorboards above the footstep area. He sighs Jee looking at the pictures on the wall that showed him with family and friends happily having a great time at beaches and other places that seemed random yet normally fun.

"Come on, the medicine and stuff is here." Kai led the way to the living room and he made sure to grab the medicine kit off of the nearby shelf and he sat down handing it to jee.

Jee scoots closer to Kai's face as she looks through the medicine kit grabbing ointment. She grabs a cotton pad and puts the ointment on it dabbing it under his eye carefully.

"Ouch" kai exclaimed startling jee slightly and the girl makes a 'Tsk' noise at the boy infront of her.

"Stop moving you big baby" Jee had bitten her bottom lip giving the bruise more attention now that it was turning purple.

Kai grabbed Jee by her hand and he put his hand under her chin tilting her head upwards so that they were looking at each other.
