Seoul. A dream city. The place where dreams are made and lived. Each step leading you to success and towards your goal. Living big, happy and successful, being known all around and having a carefree life.
Each year getting better and better, more friends, more happiness and more money. The best life you ever dreamed of. The best life anyone could dream of. Your parents could be proud to brag about their child's success and for them being famous, the child everyone would want.
That's what you thought would happen when you decided to move away from Busan, away from everything you knew. Friends, family and home; not knowing what would happen but only dreaming for a big break in a career, any career. Not knowing it would instead lead you to stress, misery and debt. Nothing worth the stress of anything.
Two years ago you had moved away from everything you knew to pursue your dream, along with help from your ever so supportive parents urging you on. They were your rocks to come back to, but now it was harder being so far away. You didn't want to worry them with your troubles so kept it to yourself, insisting to them that all was well and happy. They didn't need another burden with everything happening back in Busan with the police and your brother. Enough trouble as it was. You tried to help but that led to you nearly being dragged in with him. That was the last piece which fit in the puzzle for reasons to leave Busan.

*It was Monday, the end of your not so relaxing weekend. Each day you attempted to find a better job, one which would guarantee enough money to live comfortably in this expensive city.
Getting up at 7am was so tiring for you, especially as you loved sleep and needed way more than you were able to have time for. As you got out of bed you followed your same boring and monotonous routine. Get up, get breakfast, brush teeth, take shower, put on work clothes and what makeup you could be bothered to wear. Then rush out your door to the only work you were able to get when you moved here. You worked at a cafe about 10 minutes walk from your apartment. It was bad pay and long hours but better than anything else you were offered to do.Luckily you had made friends with a few of your coworkers, Na Chimin was your closest friend. She had seemed to feel the need to protect you as soon as you started, a motherly aura overtaking her whenever you were around.
However, today it seemed it was only you and your boss working. Monday's didn't need many staff on as it was quite quiet, but this made it awkward as he was very authoritative and intimidating, even though you knew he was kind and sweet.
You saw him come towards you and bowed, "Good morning, Kim Seokjin"(ayyyeee any BTS fans?)."Ahhh, Y/N, good to see you looking well today. Please open up and start, I will be taking the food orders in the back" staring with a kind smile while towering over me with his height.
You just nodded in return and rushed to turn the closed sign over to a welcoming and bright open sign.
Setting up displays and menus on tables was a quick job, but waiting was the worst. Seokjin has strict rules, one being you weren't allowed to have your phones while on shift. It wasn't the end of the world but it sure felt like it when seconds seemed like hours. That's why you preferred busy days.
After what seemed ages, the first customer came in and ordered a cappuccino and sandwich to go. You knew their order as they were a regular each morning on there way to work, that's all who seemed to come for the first couple of hours.
But for some reason you felt a strange atmosphere around. You couldn't quite work it out but go on with your job anyway. Every so often going to the kitchen to get your boss to make some orders.
Time went by slowly and you were getting towards the end of your shift. Only with 15 minutes left you started packing and tidying away.
But soon you were interrupted with a tap on the back of your shoulder making you jump with fright.
It was only Kim Seokjin. Or Jin as he had told you to call him many times
"Sorry, hahaha. I just thought I'd say you did very well today even though there wasn't many customers. However, I have bad news..."You just stared back impatiently.
Jin quickly said, "I'm afraid soon I am having to close down as I am becoming a trainee at a Bighit entertainment. I know as it is you are struggling to live here so I thought I would give you warning. I am closing down by the end of the week."All you could do was stare in disbelief. Everything you had done here was worthless, there was no way you could stay in Seoul anymore.
You needed a way out.
Quick.

After finishing your shift you ran back to your apartment, trying to avoid crying at all costs. No way were you able to find a solution to stay. To make things worse, the landlord for your apartment was not the nicest. He always expected you to pay all rent on time and preferably a few days before, it was only for his benefit. For the past few months he had been moaning at you, telling you this apartment was not worthy of you and once the lease was up you would have to leave. That was in two months anyway.
Everything was just going wrong.

*The rest of the night contained a mix of many emotions. From the excitement of nearly finding a new job to the crying of misery. Each moment passing by to bring you no further.
You had given up in the end, and just decided to sleep. At that point your bed was your best and only friend. You could have phoned Chimin but she was busy at her boyfriend's house, you didn't want to disturb her. She was a great friend but her boyfriend always came first unfortunately.
Slowly your eyes fell closed and your mind went blank. A peaceful sleep.

*Soon you saw yourself in what you think is a dream. It seemed to be a replay from that day but everything seemed to be going different. It was more busy and more new customers. The atmosphere more cheery; the way you liked it.
Your shift ended early and for some reason you went on a walk to the park at night.
The full moon was out and bright. Every so often a howl in the background was heard. It was a peaceful dream, pretty and relaxing.
Then you saw what looked like a giant grey dog/ wolf hybrid in the distance.
