"So the Mendoza's forming an alliance huh? Pfft I knew they were too pathetic to stand on their own.", Mike chuckled.

"I'm still curious on who they are teaming with.", Lauren said as she played with her knife.

"Ah Lauren remember what I said about curiosity?", Mike looked at his daughter sternly.

"It killed the cat I know.", Lauren mumbled.

"Exactly, however I believe there is no need to be alarmed. I mean what other mafia is there that's more stronger than us and the Hansen's?", Mike said.

"The Cabello's are the other group but they are equally as pathetic.", Lauren smirked.

"Two pathetic groups in one? Ha that makes me laugh", Mike gloated.

"I don't know father for some reason I have an off feeling about this alliance.", Lauren said.

"What? You're not really questioning that if the Cabello's and Mendoza's a line together would be more powerful than us are you?", Mike looked at Lauren quite angrily.

"I wouldn't question it for the world. It's just this feeling I have.", Lauren sighed.

"I'm sure whatever it is your feeling will pass quickly.", Mike said and checked his phone.

"Well I have a meeting to attend why don't you get some fresh air and clear that mind of yours. I don't need my own daughter having these ridiculous thoughts.", Mike commented.

"Yes father.", Lauren muttered as she slowly walked out the door.

"Fix that posture niña.", Mike growled.

Lauren cringed slightly at her father's scolding, but quickly shook it off and fixed herself to stand more bold and proud. Walking slightly faster out of her father's office. Lauren took the stairs upward and started to grip of poles and bars to lift herself up until she got to the roof.

Lauren took in a breath of fresh air and closed her eyes. It was broad daylight still of the new day and the sounds of the Regular's city is still ringing through the area. She looked over at the horizon to view the large buildings of the city. Then she looked down to see hood rats scurrying around in the Hood.

Lauren couldn't tell what she found more disgusting. The fact that she thrived and ruled over a graffiti wasteland or the thought of living a life in the prissy city. It was moments like these when Lauren really needed to erase her mind. Her father has always told her that having such ransom thoughts can affect the mind and develop things a mafia member should never have.

Such as sympathy and mercy. Lauren clenched her fist at the sound of that word. Last time Lauren's mafia showed mercy everything turned into living hell.

"Nadie merece piedad. La misericordia es para los débiles. No eres débil Jauregui. Eres la pesadilla viviente.", Lauren spoke to herself.

Translation: Nobody deserves Mercy. Mercy is for the weak. You're not weak Jauregui. You're the living nightmare.

Lauren figured she go for a walk.

Camila woke up the next morning feeling disgusted of herself as she looked to the side to see a naked Irene covered in hickeys from last night's activities. Camila quickly, but quietly changed into a new pair of clothes and slipped out of the room. She rushed to the nearest bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror.

She was covered in hickeys as well and also had scratch marks here and there on her skin. Camila grabbed a paper towel and soaked it with water; lightly dabbing it on the scratch marks to wash off the dried blood.
