The next day we were having lunch at the table, it has already been my first week here and I am not bored. Its fun.

"Shawn, is something you want to tell?" asked Momma Mendes and we all looked at Shawn.

"Oh my god, are you going to marry? Do you have a girlfriend? Ooohhhh, you have a new car," said Aaliyah, standing up and holding her head while she looked at Shawn with an open mouth.

"No, Aaliyah, sit down," he said, and Aaliyah sat down on the seat next to me. Momma Mendes leaned with forearms on the back and so we listened to Shawn.

Aaliyah, Hailee," He started. "I won't be here in the near future because ... im going on tour!" He said,

I started to be very happy and got up from my place. I gave him a hug and said, "Shawn, I'm proud of you!"

"Thank you Hailee! I'll take something when I'm back." He said, and I nodded, he laughed back to me,

I looked at Aaliyah, and she looked at her hands resting on her lap, she looked sad, something in that direction.

"Aaliyah." Shawn said softly and knelt beside her. "Are you not happy?" He asked with an arm on her back.

"Glad you're gone for a while?" She asked, and Shawn watched Mom Mendes with a help me "look."

"No, Liyah, happy for Shawn that he can follow his dream." Said Momma Mendes, Aaliyah sighed and looked up where a little smile formed.

"Yes, Shawn, I'm happy. But I will miss you for the most." They gave each other a hug and I couldn't do anything but smile like a idiot and watch how this brother-sister was playing.

"I will not stay away for a long time tho," Shawn began. "I mean, it is just nine months." He said very softly and looked around. "Who wants chocolate cake?"

"Me!" I quickly sat down again and waited for my cake.

"Wow, wait! Nine months? You can just stay for a damn whole year!" Aaliyah said a bit hard.

"Liyah, I know you're going to miss me .." Shawn stopped.
"Mom and i are going to miss yall too."

"Mom and You? "I said quickly and Mom Mendes looked at me.

"Yes ... About that, Shawn needs someone to look after him-"

"Which is not really necessary because I'm already 20."

"Like I said, someone who can watch him since he still has brains of-"

"An adult."

"A toddler and since there is no one else that can do it I should go for it."

"But what about me and Hailee?" asked Aaliyah and I nodded.

"I've been thinking about that." Moms Mendes said and turned to walk to the dishwasher.

What?" I asked and realized that Shawn walked to the living room.

Mom Mendes quickly looked at her watch and looked back at us again, "Go get ready, we going to a visit soon." She said and we nodded our heads,

we left the dining table and walked straight into our room, I had already showered I opened my closet and pulled on my light blue jeans with a cute shirt.

I really have no idea why we had to prepare, but better sooner than later and we also meet Aaliyah's friends.

I knocked at Aaliyah's door and she opened. She was wearing short shorts with an alien shirt underneath. She had her hair in a tail and together we walked downstairs. Shawn was also dressed and Mama Mendes already had her car keys in her hands.

Shall we go?" Asked Mom Mendes and we nodded our heads.

"Where do we go, if I may ask?" I asked and she looked at me.

"You'll see that." She said and we got into the blood hot car.

With all the windows open we drove to a few streets. I looked outside as we drove and here and there people looked rather strange to me because of the fact that I am new here.

"Mom, why are we in Asa's street?" Asked Aaliyah and I looked behind me. The street we are in now looks very much like that street where we live.

Mom Mendes ignored Aaliyah's question and got out of the car. Shawn did the same, so I decided to get out of the car too. mom Mendes went to a house and knocked on the door, and not long after a woman opened. They hugged each other and then Aaliyah walked towards them. She cuddled the woman and then walked in.

"Hey, do you lock the car?" Shawn asked and threw the keys in my direction.

"Yeah, but-"

"Thanks! "He said and walked away to the house, I shrugged and locked the car by pressing the small remote control, I turned and saw that the door was already closed, I took a deep breath and decided to bring back my memory and try to know which house it was.

I knocked on the door hoping it was the right one. I waited until the door opened. Just at that moment I dropped my keys, so I grabbed it and the door opened.

"Yes?" Asked a British boy voice.

I looked up and saw him again.
