In 2010, Misun moved to Korea with her grandma and Hyunjin and Misun became friends. Misun's grandma lived right next to his Parents house. Misun struggled with korean so when she met Hyunjin, He found her broken korean cute. From then, He became her korean teacher. They would play in Misun's backyard and have amazing adventures.

In 2011, Misun started to get bullied in school. Hyunjin promised to protect her but Misun declined every time. Every time they met up in the spot they always met up after school in the corner of Misun's school(since they went to different school) She would always have bruises on her knees, Her hair would be sorta messy and her eyes would be somewhat puffy. Hyunjin began to worry. He took action and walked Misun to her school gate. He found the girls that bullied Misun and politely asked them to stop, he said if they continued to treat Misun that way he won't be nice the next time he came. Even though they weren't such threatening words the girls stopped.

In 2012, Hyunjin develop feelings for Misun. Since they were still young, Hyunjin tried his best to make the feelings go away, failing terribly every time. He always thought Misun wouldn't feel the same way since she alway called him "brother". Hyunjin started to become distant from her, which torned Misun's heart. That same year, Misun got encouraged by her grandma to become a kpop idol but she didn't know what company. Once Hyunjin heard of the news, he visited Misun and suggested JYP, Misun was confused on why Hyunjin came back like he didn't ignore her for months so she declined the suggestion. She tried out for YG, Starship, Stone, Pledis, Cube But she didn't pass any of the audition, she lost hope and stopped her auditioning spree. She locked herself in the house for days. Hyunjin became worried and searched around for Audition papers for Misun. He finally found the one. He stopped by Misun's house. Knowing she didn't want to talk to him, he slid the paper from the bottom of her door. Once Misun noticed the paper, she immediately picked it up, reading the note that was in another piece of paper, She regained her encouragement. Her last hope was SM. She auditioned and passed.

Since then, Misun has become very busy. She debuted with NCT Dream in August 24th 2016. She hasn't really talked to Hyunjin since then.

Legend says that Hyunjin still has feelings for the Girl.
