Loving Alex (Quackity x reader)

Prologue

"Don't run from me y/n!" my boyfriend says, he runs to me as I struggle to unlock the front door. He grabs my shirt and pins me to the wall.

SMACK

A burning sensation runs across my cheek, he slapped me. I lean down biting his finger as hard as I could, causing him to let go of me. I run out of the door, feeling my back pocket feeling for my phone. Raising my hand up to block the rain from my phone. It's dead.. I hear him yell again and I start running, block after block until I couldn't breathe. I see a house, a light turns on, it's almost 4am but I have to take my chances. Running to the door, I slam my fists on the door as hard as I can yelling for help. Frantic footsteps come to the door when it opens revealing a boy, wearing a beanie, blue jacket, and some sweat pants. He pulls me inside, locking his doors as another man wearing a pink bucket hat running downstairs so quick he looked like he was falling.

" Are you okay?" the man in the beanie asks me, guiding me to a chair.

"No, I'm sorry to slam at your door at this time, I just needed to get away from someone.." I can feel hot tears roll down my face, I grab my cheek as the burning feeling had gotten worse.

"Aksel get her some of my clothes, towel for her hair, I'll get an ice pack.. Your face looks beaten pretty bad, come with me, care to explain what happened?" Beanie guy said, I guess the guy in the bucket hat was Aksel.

I couldn't calm down, I was having a panic attack from thinking of what has just happened. It all happened so quick. We get into a fight, he shoves me to the floor and he's punching and slapping. I touch my lip feeling blood coming from it. I couldn't hear a thing, I was slowly falling as I gripped my hair not being able to contain myself. I feel arms wrap around me, my breath cuts off until I let out a shaky breath, I didn't even look up for a while. After a few minutes of silence, I realized we were on the floor, I look up seeing beanie guy. "You'll be fine, I'm Alex. Go change we don't need anyone getting sick. Care to tell me what happened after?"

Nodding I take the clothes and he points to the bathroom, I change into the clothes, they were so warm. I look into the mirror, grab some toilet paper, wetting it and wipe of my mascara that had streaked down my face.

I walked out to see Alex and Aksel sitting on the couch chatting quietly as they look up smiling. " I made some noodles because food makes everything better, I saw your phone and I have it charging in the kitchen. Leave your clothes in the bathroom, I'll throw them into the washer later."

I sit down next to Alex as he hands me a bowl of ramen. I take a bite then begin explaining what has happened. " Well I was running from my boyfriend, we had gotten into a fight because I was going to breakup with him and I had packed his stuff, from endless abuse mental and physical. I thought I had enough confidence to stand up to him but when he exploded I regretted what I did. I tried to run out but my hands were so shaky I couldn't unlock it, that's when he pushed me into the wall, slapped and punched me. I don't know how many blocks I ran to get here but I'm glad I saw your light come on or else I don't know what I would've done."

I had said everything while looking down but when I looked up Aksel had disgust on his face and Alex was speechless. I shrugged and looked at my ramen stirring it slowly. "Stay with us tonight, you can sleep in my room. I'll take the couch" Aksel said breaking the silence.

"No, no I'll take the couch, letting me in is more than enough. Thanks for letting me in, really. If he found me I don't know what he would've done" I said, placing my hand on Askels shoulder, squeezing it a little.

He doesn't fight back and nods, I tell them who I am and a little about me and they do the same. After finishing our ramen, Alex hands me a big blanket and Aksel heads up to his room. He turns on the TV and sits down next to me. "Sorry, I just.. I would feel bad if I left you alone." I smile at his words

"That's really nice of you Alex, thanks" I feel my cheeks heating up at his gesture.

He lifts up his arm, smiling and patting his side, "Come on, it couldn't hurt! Just trying to make you feel welcome and comfortable" he laughs.

I lay on his side as he wraps his arm around me, it wasn't long before I fell asleep in his arms. It made me feel at home, his embrace gives me warmth and helps me feel safe.

A/N: So I hope you guys enjoyed the prologue :) I was going to publish the first chapter with this but I just mashed a little of the first chapter into the prologue,, I'll update this story tomorrow or in the next few days :) - Lily word count: 934
