THREE IS A FUCKING CROWD

A LOVELY DAMAGED ROSE

[ several weeks have passed since dream and rose met ]

              I sit in my room and stare at the dark orange ceiling. My job at k-mart had been going well , and I've been able to save enough to help improve with the bills . I had more problems on my hands though . Gramma was in my ear about getting back into school . Before I graduated i had a conversation with her about waiting for college. I had just turned 18 and wanted to have a little freedom before school again. She accepted my decision but I guess she changed her mind.  She wanted me enrolled in college by the fall . I told her okay just to satisfy her and get her off my back for the moment. But honestly i wasnt ready for school again .who was gonna help with the bills if i went away ? Who was gonna help gramma when things got hard ?

          I decide to call rose and ask her to come over . We had became really close friends since that day i fell and broke my face . I've been to her house and met her mom. As well as she has been to my house and met gramma .
   Our families were both toxic and destroyed. Her dad had also died when she was young . He died in a really bad car reck.
Her mom Ms. Diaz was nice but crazy , she would always be getting drunk and playing loud latino rap music . She had 3 kids and rose was the middle child . Rose had an older brother named julio . He was in the army . She also had a little sister named jalicia . She was so beautiful. She had big brown eyes with the cutest biggest cheeks . She was 2 years old but seemed 22 haha . She could talk,dance and everything .

"Hello? Rose ? Hey this is dream are u at the house ?"
" yeah wassup"
"Can u come over ? Its boring and i have no one to talk to ."
"Dream you always bored.. .. ..but im bored too so im on my way ."
     We both share a laugh then hang up . She had the best sense of humor. Despite all the tragedies she went through she kept smiling. She reminded me of me . Her courage inspired me .
When she arrived I couldn't help but stare. rose was one of those girls that were irresistible. Her long red hair was in a bun , she had on a black t-shirt and some gray leggings.
She smiled and greeted me . We head up to my room . Gramma was sleep but had met rose many of times before . She liked rose but she just couldn't stand ms.diaz . She would utter "Loud ignant heffa , thats what she is ."

"Its soooo hot outside , i cant stand in that heat ."
Rose said as she reached in her bag and pulled out a bottle of jack daniels .
"Whats that ? Liquor?!" I shouted.
"Girl keep ya voice down , you dont need ya gramma barging in here . Lets have a drink . Oh yeah and..  im spending the night ."
      She took 2 plastic cups out her bag with a can of red bull. She poured a mixture of the two together in the cups and handed me one . She most likey stole the Liquor from her momas bar collection in the basement. She had so many bottles she wouldn't notice if somebody took ten of them .
         We sipped and laughed about corny jokes from our favorite tv show called "Get real" . They talked about the latest topics of celebrities and gossip .we mainly watched to see b2k videos . We loved to talk about them , while j boog was her favorite lil fiz was all mines . We talked about meeting them one day and marrying them .
"Dream ... i have a question."
"Okay"
"Have you ever kissed a girl ?"
" .... um .. no." her question came out of the blue. Of course i had never been with a girl. But i had a feeling things were gonna take a turn.
"Oh okay well would yo... Nevermind."
"What ? ... say it ."
"No its fine ."
"Have you ever kissed a girl ?"
"Yes . Ive kissed a girl . I've been in relationships with girls ."
        Her bold words startled me alittle . She had never talked about being gay before . I thought she only liked men . Men were all we ever talked about .

"Really ? You never told me this before ."
"I know ... I usually wait until i get to know someone for me to tell my business.. but ... Nevermind."
"Will you stop saying nevermind! Dont be Afraid to speak your mind around me rose im your friend ."
She started to laugh .
" i like when u get fiesty with me ."
"...... Are u flirting? "
            I dont know what had gotten into me but rose all of sudden seemed more adorable. Her thin pink lips looked softer then pillow cushions . My private parts started to throb with excitement. But i played it cool . I never really thought of being with a girl . But I wasn't afraid to try new things . Damn that jack daniels was making me feel unstoppable.
"What makes u think im flirting ?"
"I lIke wHeN u GeT FiEsTy WiTh Me"
We both burst into laughter.
