Chapter 1: Who's Paris?

Kate's POV

I wake up and get dressed into a red sweatshirt with Mickey on it, high waisted jeans, and low top converse. I decide to put my brown hair into a top knot and curl my natural blonde tips. I decide to put on natural makeup and head downstairs. Of course my mom is gone. She's probably with her boyfriend. Oh well. I grab my backpack and an apple and walk to school.
Once I get to school I throw my apple core in the trash and head to my locker. I grab my books that I need and head to class. Since I'm the first one in class I start reading and then the bell rings so everyone files in.
School's over but it's Friday which means everyone is going to the football game. Well, everyone except me and my friend Paris. Paris is kind of like me although instead of being a Disney fanatic she's a Ryan Lewis fanatic. She'd go crazy if she met him. She's described him to me and I don't think he'd be my type. I mean I guess I could try but I'm a 15 year old who practically lives alone and has PTSD, trust issues, social anxiety, and I live in a small town so what would the chance of me meeting him be? None. There would be no chance. It's not like I care though. I honestly think he'd be stuck up and rude anyways.
Once I get home I take my shoes off and grab an orange and peel it. I run upstairs and grab my book which is "The Hunger Games". I then head back downstairs and put The Little Mermaid into the DVD player. I snuggle up in my blanket with my book and get ready for a night of Disney watching and book reading!
During the movie I decided I would call Paris. I just got a phone last week and I haven't had time to get her number yet so I call her.

Kate|Other end of the phone

Hey Paris! How's your Friday night going?!
Who's Paris? I think you have the wrong number.
Oh! Uh.. sorry! I uh just got her number.. sorry for bothering you.
No problem. Goodbye
Bye.

I say and quickly hang up. That was awkward. Ugh. Now I have to get the right number and I have to wait till Tuesday because we don't have school Monday. Oh well. I get back to my movie and eventually make myself some popcorn.
