I began to explore the city of beginnings, it was a charming place with lots of greenery. Walking around soon brought me to the shopping district, here there were loads of empty shopping stalls. Curious I walked up to one, a window popped up. [sell?] being there was no one to sell to I walked to one of the other stalls for the travelling merchant NPC's. The game looked to only have the one merchant at the moment, then again it was still in alpha. With a wiggle of my butt I launched into the air, as I was airborn I noticed my wings open on there own as I fell. Upon landing on the stall I attempted to open them again to no luck. "looks like I'll need to buy a point for me to be able to to control my wings..." I say as I sit.
Being so preoccupied with my wings I didn't notice I began an interaction with the merchant. "hello come to see my wares?" he'd ask startling me.
"eh why not?" I reply.
Suddenly a window opens showing his goods, it was mostly starter gear he sold. Things such as
[torches]
[rations]
[fire starters]
[arrows]
however he also sold a
[map] of the region. "oh, that could be useful I'll take one map please." I say.The map was labelled as one gold, as such one gold was removed from my inventory as a map was placed in. "anything else?" the merchant would ask.
I'd stand up and hop off his booth, turning around I'd thank him and say that was all. My paws brought me to a charming fountain where my claws hopped on the ledge and pulled out my new map.
"land of beginnings." I'd read as a title showed before the map actually appeared. The land of beginnings looked rather small, it consisted of the city, the field just out side the city and a pass. In the pass part of the map there was an icon that looked like a demon sprite, likely the area boss. The fields looked to be the training grounds so it was probably a good place to visit soon. Finally there was the city of beginnings, it looked compact even on the map or that is until I noticed that I could pinch the map bigger. "nice! Oh and here's my marker." I said looking to a white triangle on the fountain.
The city looked to have a few districts, namely the [residential district], the [merchant district] which I came from, the [guild district] and finally [central district] which I was currently sitting in.
As I read the map a popping sound caught my attention. Instantly I looked up to the bubbles to see someone float down. As I returned my map to my inventory I ran towards the floating player trying to focus on them to see if they changed there tag type. Luckily they were in the same district but my small stature made it harder to focus on them so high, however I could tell they were humanoid. "Change your hud tag!" I'd shout at the top of my lungs hoping the player could hear me.The person continued to float down but did change there angle to face me. "What?" it was a young man's voice calling down.
"SAY CHANGE THE HUD TAG!" I shout as loud as as I can.
As I did my hud tag would come in front of me dropping the list again, apparently I could change it when ever I liked. My ear twitched as I heard him say something, I couldn't quite tell what though until I spotted his hud tag move. "Oh thank god." I sigh as I flop onto my fluffy bottom.
As the man got closer I was able to focus on him, his tag read [Leo NPC]. He was a man of average hight and kinda thin with a gingery complexion speckled with a light brushing of freckles. His hair was dirty blonde and medium length with a relitively strong wave to it. He looked to have a childish aditude going by his posture and facial expressions. As he touched ground he walk up to my diminutive figure and kneel down. "I take it the hud thing is why I didn't get scanned?" he asked.
