Chapter 5

CHANGE OF POV

*Madison's POV* 

I thought bringing Chelsea to open gym would be fun because I want her to join the team. But I forgot that Lauren wasn't too fond of her. Earlier at school Chelsea had walked into lunch with Sam and she was looking at him with such passion as Lauren would describe it. 

Lauren was jealous. She likes no loves Sam. She's pretty much obsessed, and she thinks he likes her back just because they make out or she gives him blow jobs. It's pretty funny because she's the slut of the school and would sleep with any guy even though she claims she's in love with Sam. 

Lauren is my best friend. She has been since 6th. But I feel like Chelsea could easily replace Lauren. But for right now, I have to be there for my best friend. Chelsea had just owned Lauren by doing amazing gymnastic skills that Lauren didn't have. Laur was completely overreacting but she told me that if I continued to be Chelsea's friend, then she would kick me off the squad. I couldn't do that. Chelsea seemed like a much better friend than Lauren but I loved cheering. So I decided I'd be a bitch now and explain later.

Chelsea must have noticed something was wrong because she made me take her home. The car ride was silent. I dropped her off at her house and then texted her once I got home

To: Chels

Hey sorry about earlier. Lauren told me I would be kicked off the squad if she saw me talking to you.

But me and the other girls talked, and think you should join. And be captain. None of us have the gymnastics you do so it would be amazing if you were. We really hate Lauren and she's the most popular girl in school. Help us change that?

I hope that wasn't too snobby.. It was really risky but oh well. I waited for a response but never got one so I decided to go to bed. 

*Chelsea's POV*

I woke up to my alarm and checked my phone. I had 4 messages.

From: Gilinsky

Morning, can I get a ride to school?(:

From: Lauren

Stay away from Sam and Madison.

I rolled my eyes at that one.

From: Dana 

Miss you so much girl. Facetime tonight?

From: Madison

I couldn't belive what I just read. Was she serious? 

Well today will be interesting I thought. 

I got out of bed and did my morning routine.
