~•Chapter 1: First Day Of School•~

(Y/n)'s POV

Oh boy, it's the first day of school again. I came to check the time... 4:09 a.m? I guess I woke up sooner than my dad

I streched, then did my morning routine.

Right before I put on my (F/c) colored scarf, I heard a thud outside of my room. I went out to see what's going on. I was in so much panic.... but just to see my dad fall off the couch he's sleeping on.

This happened really often since he was really hard to wake up. I went back to my room to put on my scarf. I checked my phone, 6:43. Since dad isn't awake yet I decided to make breakfast for him too.

When I finished my breakfast, I checked the time again. 7:02.. dad isn't up yet so I decided to leave a note since he's always the one to wake me up. I wrote...

Hey dad! I woke up before you so I made breakfast for you.

Then I left

{At school}
This place is really huge, I'm a new student here so this is a total new place for me.

"Hey there!" asked a girl's voice
I almost fell on the ground but the girl catched me
"Oh! I'm sorry! Did I startle you?" the girl asked me
"Y-yeah.." I said, not noticing that I was stuttering
"Heh, I'm Ayano Aishi, you must be new here. What's your name?"
"I'm (Y/n) (L/n), nice to meet you!"
"You too." The girl smiled before walking away

Damnit! I thought to myself I forgot to ask her to show me around! I'm such an idiot!

I tried to find the rooftop, and I did. I looked down from the railing and saw how big the school actually was. The school was so beautiful, it was filled with Sakura trees. When I looked around for a few minutes, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I saw someone holding some good-looking cookies. The person said "Hi! I'm from the cooking club and we're giving out food for free. Would you like some?" The person said with a bright smile
"Sure, I'll have one!" I took one cookie from the pan and took a bite. The person walked away handing some to another person. When I finished the cookie I checked the time. 8:00, I went to look for my class. I saw the girl that I met this morning, "Hey Aishi~Chan!"
She looked at me, smiling. I continued and said, "It's me again, can I ask you something?"
"Sure! What is it?" she said
"Do you know where class 2-1 is?"
"Yeah, that's my class! Follow me"
"Okay"
She dragged me to the classroom and she said I could sit next to her

She was so nice to me, I really should thank her.
"Thanks Aishi~Chan!"
"No problem, also you can call me Ayano"
The teacher came in and told us all to take out seats. And before she started to teach, she told me to go in front of the class and introduce myself. I was pretty nervous but at the same time I was excited to let the class know about me.
"Hi! My name is (Y/n) (L/n). I'm an exchange student from (your country name, if you're Japanese skip this sentence) I hope I'll have a great time here"
After my introduction, the teacher made me go back to my seat and started teaching.

~Time Skip to lunch break~

Before I took my lunch out of my bag, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I noticed it was Ayano. She said, "Wanna have lunch together?" I nodded and took out my lunch. As Ayano and I we're talking on our way, we both noticed Fuka Sensei. She was talking to Ayano. She said, "Hey Aishi, would you mind showing (L/n) around after school?" Ayano nodded and Fuka sensei left. Ayano looked at me and said, "So, where were we?"
"We were talking about the lone cherry tree?" I said
"Oh, right."
We were talking a lot and didn't notice we were on the rooftop already.

~Time Skippu to Afterschool ~

Ayano pulled my hand because I forgot about her to show me around. "You forgot that I'm gonna show you around" we both laughed at how naive I was, then she dragged me and showed me the pool, it was massive! Before we could go somewhere else I said, "Um, Ayano.. can you stop dragging me please?" "Oh, sorry" she led go of my hand a showed me the lone cherry tree she was talking about. She showed me the incinerator, the gym, the hedge maze, the gardening club, yadayadayada (if you know what reference I took from have a cookie) and a lot of places around school.

Once she showed me all around we exchanged numbers and said goodbye. I can't wait to tell my dad about her.

When I arrived home, I saw my dad and rushed to him and gave him a tight hug. He said "How was school sweetheart?" I gave him a bright smile a said, "Amazing dad! I met someone who was really kind and sweet. She showed me all around the school and also gave me her number!"
My dad then said, "Be careful with who you trust, she can be dangerous"
I nodded and went to my room to change. When I got there, I saw.. A present? I saw letter on top of it. It read,

This is for you, you have been the most wonderful daughter to me, and I have been able to award you finally. Ever since your mom died, I never felt so emotional, but, God has given me the most wonderful thing in the world.

I opened the present, and there was a...

A turquoise bow inside. It was decorated with small gems and in the middle was a heart shaped ruby. I put it on and went downstairs to find my dad (you didn't change yet btw)
"Dad... "
