A loud knock at the front door interrupts my thoughts. Lisa must be here already. Conveniently, she lives in the flat next to mine. "Are you ready Jisoo?" she asks, as soon as I open the door. She looks down at my pajamas and sighs. "Typical. Arraseo, get ready. I'll just be in the kitchen, raiding your food." I roll my eyes. "If I didn't know you, I'd swear your only friends with me so you can go through my fridge." She laughs as I walk into my small bedroom. I throw on ripped skinny jeans and a black t-shirt, pulling on my red high top converse. "I'm ready!" I call out to Lisa. She appears, as if she were a mere shadow that had been there the whole time.

"You don't have to nearly have a panic attack about every little thing, you know." Jimin remarks. I give him my own special brand of a sarcastic face. "You don't have to be annoying, you know." "Okay, you can both stop." Lisa says, separating us. I sigh sadly. "Sorry, Jimin. I'm just nervous." He smiles agyeo. "It's alright, Jisoo. You're just worried about meeting your soul mate." I nod, feeling bad. For the past four hours, the questions haven't stopped running through my head. I have six hours left until I meet him, but I feel as if it's an eternity. "Jisoo, just remember that he is just as nervous as you are." Lisa says comfortingly. "Yea, my buddy Namjoon is going through the same thing right now. His timer is also down to only a few hours. He's been freaking out for the past week." Jimin chimes in.

"Maybe Namjoon can join us later." Jimin wraps his arm around Lisa's shoulders. "Yea, maybe. I'll text him." Jimin says, pulling out his phone. Lisa gets this look in her eyes that I've learned to fear. I roll my eyes. "Tell Namjoon that we're not really in a hurry for anything, so he can take his time." She says. This girl is my best friend, but I swear sometimes she makes me see red. "You can't manipulate someone into being my soulmate, Lisa." She smirks, as if she knows something I don't. "We'll see." Jimin shoves his phone back in his pocket. "He says he's busy right now, but he can be here in a few hours." Lisa gives me a smug look. I just shake my head, annoyed. "I've heard about Namjoon plenty of times, and yet, we've never met. If that were meant to be, I think it would have happened already." I say.

I kick a pine cone out of the way. It would be great if the moment would just come already, so I don't have to be such a spaz about it. The universe just wants to keep me waiting, though, annoyingly enough. My Eomma used to talk about when she met Appa all the time. She would tell me of how they met on their way to school when they were only twelve years old. Appa was new to the school, and Eomma being who she was, offered to show him around the school.
