Back at the law firm"Dean!"
Bell slammed the palm of her hands on his desk, he gaze up at her with an annoyingly lazy frown. Which made her even more determined.
He didn't expect to see her back for the rest of the day. When she didn't return after her alotted one hour lunch break had passed he assumed she had left for the day."I want all of you, I can't be your sex buddy, I want to be your lover and friend like before and that's what I came here for, it's either all or nothing for me." She was speaking in a sharp tone as if she was ready for a physical fight. He smiled despite himself, she looked even more pretty when she was mad, unfortunately for him, his smile only made her more infuriated. He wondered what had gotten her so riled up.
Bell slumped on the chair she had recently vacated. Here she was back again sitting in the very same seat where he had made his intention for their relationship clear, two hours later, ready to do anything it took to win his heart back.
When she had walked out of the building and into a taxi that afternoon, she didn't have any intension of coming back for the day. She had called Henrietta, needing someone to talk to. Bell was lost and didn't know what to do now. She had thought that maybe, she could start over with Dean. She wasn't stupid she knew it wasn't going to be easy and that sex didn't solve everything. Deep down though she was hoping it would have made it a little easier for him to want to be with her and maybe she could say they had made progress toward a better future. But from the look he gave her after they had mind-blowing sex, she knew she would be fooling her self if she thought he was anyway near to trusting her.Bell was ready to burst, it hit her like a nuclear bomb on her hopeful heart when he had told her he didn't want anything more than sex from her. 'The man she knew loved her not just her body...' she sighed inwardly 'it was her own fault she had given him up, she had opted to walk out on him and hurt him badly, granted it was for his own good.' She had done that.

Two hours agoHenrietta was anxious, Bell sounded so disheartened over the phone and she became worried. 'What had happened to make her sound so lost?' She wondered.
They had agreed to meet over lunch at an outdoor café near the park and she had brought Jamie along thinking the sight of him might cheer his mother up and besides she rarely ever left the house without him, they had become so bonded over the few weeks she barely knew what life was without her grandchild in it. Bell had made an amazing little boy and he was very intelligent, he loved reading at such a young age and he was always asking questions. She had caught him helping the maid out once or twice when he was not otherwise busy with her or the dogs. He was entirely the perfect little boy and she had lost her heart completely to him. The more she got to know her grandchild the more her respect and admiration for his mother grew. "A child is only as good as the parents that brought him up."
So, when Bell had called her distressed, she had moved with haste to get to her.
The small café was located next to the lake, the view of the park was breathtaking from where they sat, Jamie's attentions was immediately taken as he spotted the ducks swimming in the pond and after meeting his mom with a sloppy kiss, he left running after the ducks and their ducklings, the ladies let him run around playing with the ducks as their table gave them a perfect view of the little man no more than a few feet away from them. Hearing his laughter from where they sat.
"What is it sweetheart? You sounded so disturbed on the phone." Henrietta asked as they sat on the white plastic chairs surrounding their table. She took Bell's hand into hers and squeezed it reassuringly, smiling encouragingly.
