How to get ready to talk to someone
1. Breathe in and breathe out
Take a deep breath and get ready.
2. Play the scenario in your head
Think about how you will talk to someone. Think about how you will approach that person and how you will walk. Think about what you will say and what that person will say. Think about how to end the conversation. Replay the scenario until you are ready.
3. Overthink
Now think about all the things that will go wrong.
4. Have a mental breakdown.
Start fidgeting. You will start to bite your nails, play with your hair, look around, and feel stressed. It's starting to get hot in here.
5. Slowly approach that person.
Walk to that person slowly and awkwardly. Take a step and approach that person.
6. Stand there awkwardly
Get ready to say something.
7. Give up
As you start to say something that person walks away because he/she needs to do something or someone called out to him/her. That is when you give up and resent yourself for not being able to speak up. Think about it even when you go to sleep. But don't worry you always have next time.
