Period 6: Karma Time Part 2

-After School-

Sora began her walk down the mountain as soon as the bell rang. After making her way towards the train station, she kept hearing whispers from those from the main campus.

"Look, it's Sawada! I heard she was sent to Class E because she beat up some kids from Class A."

"Seriously? No way a girl like her could beat them up, she looks so scrawny!"

"I heard that she cause so much damage, she broke the walls."

"No wonder she was sent to the End Class, no way would I want a violent chick like her in my class."

'Oh wait until these jerks hear from me themselves.' thought Sora, slowly becoming angry at the comments thrown her way, even though she admits it to be true. 

As the young teen walked through the station, she surprisingly ran into Nagisa and Karma, who were just passing through the gates. 

"Hey Sora, what are you doing here?" Nagisa greeted with a shy smile. 

Sora returned the gesture and replied, "I'm just waiting for the train to Namimori. That's where I live, one of my cousins is supposed to pick me up soon."

Nagisa nodded his head, but Karma was looking at the brunette with interest. 

She didn't look like much, brown hair, brown-red eyes, slightly plain attire. You wouldn't think to look twice at her. But there was just something about her that made him slightly on edge. Like there was a hidden bloodlust just waiting to strike at any moment. Karma smiled, but not your average type of happy-go-lucky smile, a devious smile. 

Looks like he's found a new toy to mess with.

While Karma was busy staring down Sora, the said girl went on her phone to see if there was anything new in the world, or anything that her teacher might show her.

And indeed there was as Reborn had sent her two articles that were published ages ago.

More People Come Forward With Strange Supernatural Powers!

Since the time when a luminescent baby was born in Quinquing, China many years ago, many more people have come forward claiming to have these supernatural powers. As many scientists have thought before, there were people possessing these phenomenons before the discovery of the baby. 

Governments around the world are still wondering how to handle the appearance of these new superpowers. With the added situation of 70% of the Moon being destroyed, government officials are searching for a way to settle laws regarding these newfound abilities. 

In addition to this, many people have begun to panic at the thought of super powered humans roaming around their neighbor hood. Calls for segregation have been demanded by the public, demanding to be separated from them. 

What could this mean for the future of society? What will the government do to handle the situation?

Sora looked twice at the article, not noticing Karma actually leaning over her shoulder to take a peek.

"Wow, that's a pretty old article." he said, startling the girl because of the close proximity. "You interested on how they're handling it now?"

"K-Kind of...right now people are more accepting of these people with supernatural powers." Sora replied, slowly shifting away from the red head. "There's been talk on how there were people with these supernatural powers before society even discovered the baby."

"Oh yeah, like how there was that one guy with that one power to spray water from his hands, he was actually on the news this morning." Nagisa said, joining the conversation.
