It was now mid January Sawyer was all healed up and working at Applebee's. She came in from practice to see her brother and Bucky in their kitchen with the rest of the boys and theirs parents.
"What's going on?' Sawyer said
"We are planning our spring break trip our first trip without parents." Bucky said
"Oh..have fun with that." she said as she was about to walk out.
"Steve if you want me to pay for your portion Sawyer gets to go too or you don't." Joe said and Sawyer stopped.
"Daddy I rather not go spend two weeks with them." she said
"Sawyer you work and go to school make straight As and cheer. Be a damn teenager for once and quit trying to act like an adult." Joe said
She looked down and said "Fine daddy but I get my own room where ever it is you all want to go" then ran up the stairs and slammed the door.
Natasha went upstairs and said "Hey.."
"Hey." she said
"What's going on with you? You quit working at Buffalo and you and Dallas end now you are pushing everyone away." Natasha said
"i'm fine." she said
"Well anyways.. you are coming with me and Wanda this weekend. We are having a girls' weekend in Atlanta." Natasha said
She sat up and said "What are we doing to do in Atlanta."
"Shop..eat spend a whole weekend in a hotel room just the three of us." Natasha said
Sawyer rolled her eyes and said "Okay."
"There's that smile." Natasha said
"Where are you all wanting to go?' Sawyer said
"The boys were thinking a beach trip to Florida and they want to get a beach house in the Keys." Natasha said
"Oh.." Sawyer said
"Come on you can help pick out a house for us." Natasha said
She followed Natasha downstairs and Bucky said "Oh look it's rude ass."
"Oh look it's the pain in my ass." Sawyer said as she pushed him out of the chair to look at the beach houses.
"Rude.." he said as he got up then he sat on her legs.
"Bucky get off my legs you are to heavy to sit on me." she said as she pushed him again.
"I am not fat Sawyer Gracelynn." he said
"Nobody said the word fat. Mr steroids." she said
"I don't take steroids this is all me baby." he said
"Yeah okay.." she said as she Wanda and Natasha turned to start looking at houses that were for for rent.
That weekend the girls were loading up Sawyer's jeep Bucky came out and said "Where are you 3 going?"
"Away from you" Sawyer said
"Girls' trip so no you are not allowed to come." Wanda said
"Psh now that's definitely rude why aren't we invited." Bucky said
Steve came out and said "Cause they don't love us anymore. "
"So mean" Sam said with Clint walking over from across the street.
"Aww poor babies." Sawyer said
Sawyer plugged her aux cord and "Happy" started to play out her jeep windows. The girls started to dancing in Sawyer and Steve's drive way. Then they started to get in the jeep and take off for the weekend.
"Where are they going Steve?' Bucky said
"Atlanta" Steve said
"Atlanta?" Sam said
"They got a hotel suite and are staying till Sunday." Steve said
"Wow..sounds boring." Bucky said
While the girls were in Atlanta Steve and Bucky went to meet a guy and he said "how many do you need."
Bucky started to count everyone in his head and then he said "7"
"okay you two got the money." the guy said
Bucky laid a wad of cash on the table and then he said "Okay I need pictures."
They gave him picture of each of the them so he had something to go off to make each of them fake IDS. "Come back in two weeks I'll have them ready." he said
"Thanks." Steve said
They got out to Bucky's truck and fist bumped and said "Spring break is going to be the best."
While the girls were in Atlanta they went shopping at the mall and ate at their favorite restaurants in Atlanta and enjoyed a weekend to recharge their batteries competition season was finally over and all the had to cheer for was basketball season.
Bucky was laying in his bed when he got a notification that Sawyer had added to her snapchat story. He watched her Sawyer with the girls as they snapped a bunch of selfies of the car ride then them jumping around in their hotel room and food. "There's that smile I haven't seen in awhile." he said to himself.
The next day they started to pull into their road with "No Limit" playing as the boys played basketball in Bucky's driveway. They stopped playing when they heard the music and walked over to the Rogers' driveway. She started to get her stuff out and he came up behind and said "Get me a birthday present."
"No.. why would I get you something for your birthday you never get me anything for mine and I was born a month after you." she said
"Rude.. so damn Rude I've gotten you stuff." he said
"A dead frog doesn't count Barnes." she said
He started laughing and said "Oh I still can't get over that scream when you opened my present that birthday."
"Let's see what you got." he said
"no." s he said
"Oh come on Sawyer Grace.." he said
"Nope" she said as she pushed him away and ended up dropping everything.
"Oh look you went to Victoria Secret I bet Dallas is going to love that." he said
She looked down and picked everything up quickly and he said "Sawyer.."
She ran inside and he looked at Steve "Dallas and her ended over Christmas break."
"Oh.. I didn't know that. is that why she's no longer at Buffalo." Bucky said
"Yeah.. she thought it would be easier to get over him if she wasn't around him." Steve said
Sawyer was in her room putting her stuff away wiping tears. Bucky came in and said "Hey I'm sorry I didn't know you two broke up."
"It's fine.." she said as she finished up then said "I have homework so I'm going to go to the library." and left.
