A few days later they were all on the beach the three girls were drinking pina coladas and having fun getting a tan. She felt her phone buzz and she saw that she had a text message.
"How are you darlin.. it's been awhile. You look good in a bikini. How are you drinking alcohol at 16." Dallas texted her.
Fear went over her face as she scanned the beach. "Nat.." she said
"What is it... Sawyer breathe what's wrong." Nat said
"Get my brother please." Sawyer said with tears.
"Okay Wanda you stay." Nat ran over to her brother.
"Sawyer what's wrong." Steve said
"Tt take me back to the beach house please." she said
"What's wrong Sawyer" Steve said
She handed him her phone and he saw the text and he said "Girls get her to the beach house now."
"Steve what's wrong." Sam said
Steve started to scan the beach and Bucky said "Who are we looking for?"
"Dallas.." Steve said
Bucky looked to Sawyer "Sawyer come here darlin" he said as he helped her up.
He went to wipe her tears and she flinched "Sawyer Gracelynn I have never hit you why are you flinching."
She looked down and then he said 'Sawyer.."
"Found him." Steve said
"Just get me out of here." she said
"Okay.. Sam you go with the girls." Bucky said
He followed Steve and Steve said "Did I not make myself clear that night."
"Oh look who it is little brother to the rescue again." Dallas said
"What night Steve?' Bucky said
"The night that I had to pick up my sister cause he beat the shit out of her and caused her to have a miscarriage. If I have to I will make sure you are served with a restraining order if you contact her again." Steve said
"You hurt Sawyer.. you fucking bastard" Bucky said
""You leave her alone and I'm going to let the police know cause I have the pictures on my phone if you contact her again I will let the police know and have your ass arrested for harassment" Steve said and then added "I told you when I punched you the night that next time you hurt her it won't be just me. Him and the other two boys that are with me are a lot more ruthless when it comes to punching."
Bucky and Steve walked away and he said "Steve you lied to me that night."
"I know but that was only because she asked me to not tell anyone. I don't know all the details Buck all I know is what she said that night." he said
They got back to the beach house and he went upstairs to her room. He knocked on the door
"Yeah" she said through tears.
He opened the door "Sawyer.." he said as he sat beside her on the bed.
She looked up at him "Why didn't you call me instead of Steve.." he said
She looked down and he said "What have I always told you Sawyer. "
"Like you were gonna show up" she said
"I would have and I would have done more than one punch on that fucking bastard. Now I know why you jumped the other night and why you flinched on the beach. Why you started to pull away from all of us cause he hurt you Sawyer." he said
She wiped tears and he said "Give me your phone."
She handed him her cellphone and he blocked Dallas' number and he said "Let him contact you now that he's blocked."
She looked down and he said "I tried to tell Steve that he was bad news that he was to possessive but he said you didn't want to listen Sawyer and look what happened cause you wanted to be the same Sawyer you have always been the little miss stubborn ass."
"Yeah I know." she whispered
That night they stayed in and didn't go out like they had originally planned.
