Chapter 5

Next day at school
Saiki's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about her last night. All I could think about was how she smelled like vanilla, and how I didn't worry about anyone else's thoughts when I was with her, focused on her. How her smile lit up the room, and how when she blushed, I could feel my heart beat 10x faster. I didn't know what I was feeling, but I liked it. As I was walking through the hall the next day, I could hear people talking. "....WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?!?" A male voice said. Now usually, I didn't care about these conversations, but with y/n on my mind, I couldn't help but listen in.
"...No, I'm sorry. I feel flattered, but if I'm being honest with you...I like someone else." I heard y/n say this, and I immediately blushed, wondering if it was me she liked. Not possible. I thought to myself. "Well...could I at least know who it is?" The male asked. My heart races whenever I even think of his name... I hear y/n's inner thoughts say. "Sure...I'll give you a hint. He goes to our school, and...has pink hair." Y/n says, softly. IT IS ME?!? I thought, face going even redder. "SAIKI?!?" The male screamed, until y/n put her hands on his mouth. "You can't tell anyone, please..." she whispered sweetly. "Okay, only because you are so damn adorable." The male voice says. I then hear footsteps and I run into my class. Ever since last night...I can't stop thinking about Saiki! I heard y/n say in her head, and my heart beats faster. Maybe I should ask him on a...date. No...he'd say no! But...I want to. I hear y/n continue, and I smile to myself. "Hey Buddy!" Nendou comes up to me, whacking me on the back. "Can you feel this strange aura? Maybe it's dark reunion!" I hear a voice soon trail after. I look behind me and see Kaidou and Nendou, looking at me. Soon after, y/n enters the classroom, her vanilla aroma filling the air. "Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a good morning!" She smiles sweetly. Every boy's faces went red, and they bow towards her. Y/n starts up to my desk, but trips. "I-I...ugh..." she steps back up, continuing to my desk. She smiles softly, and I feel my heart pounding. "Saiki, I wanted to talk to you...in p-private." I nod, and look at Nendou and Kaidou. Kaidou gets it and drags Nendou along with him to another table. "S-Saiki...I was wondering, if you wanted to go out for dinner...tonight?" I nodded my head slightly, smiling. AH! He's smiling at me...and he looks so cute! I hear y/n think, and her face grows red. "T-Thank you, I'll see you tonight!" She walks away, waving at me.
