Chapter 9 (gore warning.)

"My parents are dead."

Flashback to a little 6 year old you and your parents

I scream my favorite song as it plays through the car, and mommy laughs and holds daddy's hand. They look at me and smile, as we continue to drive to our vacation house for the summer. I see a big supply truck driving towards us in the wrong lane, but mommy and daddy are looking at me. "MOMMY! DADDY!"
It all goes black. As I wake up, I see the windows smashed, and I'm bleeding in several spots. I move over to look at mommy and daddy...
I see their hands intertwined, and I look at them. Their heads are smashed in and bloody, the truck in front of us through our windshield. I can feel tears streaming down my face, and I start to scream. "MOMMY! DADDY!" There is blood all over their seats, and glass in their arms and shoulders. "HELP! HELP!" I scream, limping out into the highway, and I see the police. "MY MOMMY AND DADDY ARE DEAD!"

Back to present.

I feel tears stream down my cheeks, and Saiki wraps his arm around me. "I'm sorry...I didn't know..."
