The little rabbit and Yi Lei Fang have been playing cat and mouse for twelve minutes now.
Yi Lei Fang was way beyond pissed. She was about to throw a fireball at the little furball but Xiao Bao kept screaming in her head, "OOC! Marital world! Mission will fail! Mission will fail!"
Yi Lei Fang gritted her teeth. She is already exhausted and hungry. She wanted to stop and rest but she can't stop now! She decided to make the little fur ball her food!
Then straight ahead, a bright light blinded her vision. After adjusting her eyes, Yi Lei Fang came to a halt. She observed her surroundings trying to find any clue where the little rabbit was hiding.
The place is a decent open area, enough to set up a camp. It’s surrounded by several big trees and a few bushes. In front of her stood a big tree with moss and mushrooms growing on the tree trunk. The green grass contain spots of yellow, blue, and purple Sisyrinchium growing.
When Yi Lei Fang heard movement from the bushes next to the big wide tree, she took out a dagger and slowly approached the sound. Yi Lei Fang was five feet away from the bushes and was about to continue moving towards the noise until she felt someone intensely staring at her back.
Her eyes immediately hardened and her expression turned scary for a moment. Who was it?
Yi Lei Fang whipped her head around trying to find the source of the prying eyes. She moved her gaze up at a certain tree where she felt the intense stare coming from... but she did not see anyone.
Yi Lei Fang released her mental power and still did not see any shadow behind the tree. She furrowed her brow in deep thought, wondering if it is just her mind playing tricks due to exhaustion.
I could’ve sworn there was someone else there, She had a difficult time thinking that it was nothing.
While Yi Lei Fang was focusing somewhere else, a little grey rabbit popped its head out from the same bush. It turns its head to Yi Lei Fang direction and once the creature that she was not paying attention, it gently hopped out of the bushes.
The little rabbit hopped silently while crossing to the other side, slowly passing in front of the big tree.
With a quick swishing sound, a dagger blocked the little rabbit. If the little rabbit had taken another hop, who knows what might have happened!
The little rabbit shivered and quickly headed back into the bushes behind him but before he could even jump to its only hope to safety, another dagger flashed by and blocked its path again!
This time the dagger was one centimeter close to the front of its hind legs! This woman is crazy!
The little rabbit turned to the side to face the crazy woman with an evil smile on her face. The little rabbit's hind legs started to shake and would take each step backwards toward the tree whenever Yi Lei Fang stalked forward.
The little rabbit's pitch black eyes kept staring at the third dagger in Yi Lei Fang’s hand! Her eyes were on the rabbit while her hand was busy playing with the dagger!
The creature kept backing away from Yi Lei Fang until its back touched the big wide tree. Each foreleg spread out making the rabbit stand up like a "T" against the lower tree trunk.
While Yi Lei Fang walked towards the rabbit, she could see its hyperventilating and their pitch black eyes were showing fear.
Yi Lei Fang telepathically spoke to Xiao Bao, "Xiao Bao, do you think this rabbit is odd? It does not act like a normal rabbit."
"Goddess, I think you are seeing things."
*Thud*
The little furball kneeled on its hindlegs and used its forelegs to pray for mercy.
"Goddess, you are not seeing things. Repeat, you are not seeing things!"
