Percy Pov:
I woke up to bright light in the infirmary and immediately knew I wasn't dead. All of a sudden I heard someone say " Percy!"I knew instantly it was Nico." Why did you save me, I wanted to die!"
"Because I love you."
My heart stopped. I always knew I loved Nico even being with Annabeth, but I didn't think he loved me." I've always loved you and will continue to love you so please, live for me."
My heart shattered and I broke down in tears. Nico rushed over to me and tried to comfort me, that only made me cry harder. Images of Tartarus, the war,and the people I lost kept flashing through my mind. I felt Nico rubbing my back and I stopped crying.
"Why do you love me?"
" I love you how you're strong in the face of danger. How kind and compassionate you are. I love the gold flecks in your eyes and the way your hair shines in the. The thing I love most about you is you make me feel!!"
This time we both broke down and cried into the night.
