Story: The Sound of Death
Monster(s): Don Cage and the Brooklyn Boys, a 1960's jazz band from the Great Depression who have become spirits possessing a cursed record.
Summary:
Karl, the 82-year old owner of an antiques store plays a record on his phonograph, playing the music by 1960's jazz musician, Don Cage and his band, The Brooklyn Boys. After the music plays for a few minutes, spirits materialize out of thin air who resemble the band.Karl gets shocked and accidentally knocks over the phonograph, ending the record's music and the ghosts disappear. He shakes this off and goes to bed only to awakened during the night by the sound of the music playing again.
The spirits of Don Cage and the Brooklyn Boys reappear and force him to sing to the music with him until the record stops. Karl reluctantly does so, but dies of a stroke a minute before.
