I'm Sorry I was scared

Chapter 12

The floor plan for the new house is all ready to go and once they get clearance to demolish, they can start the construction of the house.

The demolish went as planned and now the building of the house is going great, there have been a couple hiccups along the way but what construction job doesn't.

The house should be built by Christmas, so they can have their first married Christmas in the new house.

Things in Palo Alto have been going great, the company is growing all the time. Mitchum hasn't tried to get his hands on it lately, but that's not the same for his. He's tried very hard to get Logan back at HPG with no avail.

Married life is going well for Rory and Logan, they've jetted off to a couple of destination places by themselves but have also taken some trips with the boys.

Richard and Emily haven't been to happy with Rory for how little she visits and communicates with them.

Her dad, Gigi and Francine are a different story. They talk often and video chat twice a week.

Its summer and Rory and Logan are in Boston to discuss some business that Francine need to talk with Rory about. Francine brought up being the heiress for the Hayden's.

Rory asked about Gigi and Francine said she's still too young, but if something were to happen to both herself and Chris then Gigi would become heiress.

Rory and Logan talked about it and Francine said that it would just be a title, Chris and everyone else that works there will do all the actual work. Rory said yes but didn't want a big to do about it because then it would take away from the privacy they are trying to get. Francine understood and said that once the paperwork was finished that would be it, no fancy or flashy announcement.

Since nothing major was going on with the company, Rory and Logan decided to have an extended stay in Stars Hollow for some of the summer to be there for the building of the house. They had already decided the paint colours and flooring but would still need to actually see the flow of the house once built to start buying furniture.

Since Mitchum has found out that Rory was a Hayden, he's been trying his damntist to get Logan back to HPG and also find a way to get them back together. Apparently they were both hard to get in contact with. After a little digging he found it strange that he couldn't find one thing about her in California. He did find a couple old freelance articles by a Leigh that looked liked Rory's style of writing but couldn't be sure it was her. He then came up with the idea of starting a new media company within HPG, naming it RLHGH and would then try to buy Logan's company and have the two merge with the condition that both Logan and Rory be the heads and CEO's of the company. He couldn't believe what an ass he was to Rory now knowing she's a Hayden. He had always played nice with the Gilmore's because that was how society worked but never thought they were on the Huntzberger level.

So he made a proposal to Logan's company with the exclusion of knowledge that Logan and Rory would run the company together. He thought that if Logan didn't know the better until he had already agreed.

Mitchum didn't expect for Logan to get back to him right away and was ultimately surprised that Logan knew what his tricks were.

Logan had gotten a phone call from his partners in Palo Alto telling him about the new offer and the name seemed fishy. They had looked into it and found out that it was a new company under HPG. He thanked them for the info and told them to say no and that we know his tricks. They said ok. Logan decided to call one of the board members that always keeps him informed of Mitchum's doing and was told they knew nothing about this new company but would look into it for him.

Later that day the board member got back to Logan and said he found all of Mitchum's info on it and would email it over to him. When Logan got the email he was surprised that at the conditions. What was Mitchum up to now that he wanted both him and Rory to run and be CEO's of this new company. Logan looked into the new company and found nothing existed yet and that it was all a barging chip to get Logan back at HPG.

Once Rory got home he filled her in on the whole deal and laughed at the whole thing. She also said that its probably because he learnt she was a Hayden and can't handle the gossip about what did to her in college anymore.

The week before they went back to Palo Alto was the most stress full time since they got back together. Emily and Richard at stopped by to see Lorelai and to talk about Rory's behaviour towards them. They had almost caught Logan and Rory but luckily Logan was able to hide quick enough. Rory wasn't as fortunate and had gotten an ear lashing about her behaviour and communication skills. Lorelai arrived home from the inn just in time to save Rory from having to answer the question they had about her job and her writing.

Instead of staying the whole week Rory and Logan decided to head out early to avoid any other surprise pop ins that could happen.
