"We need to bring Lucinda, maybe he's in some sort of potion or spell." Zane suggested to the group of boys.

"I'll give her a call, then." Laurance pipes in

He was desperate to do anything thag could distract him and at the same time not make him feel so useless. Laurance took out his phone and called Lucinda. After a few minutes of talking and explaining the situation to her, she said she'd be over there soon.

"... she said she's on her way." He says to everyone.

"Ok, well... tell me what happened. I'm going home." Zane says, before walking away.

"You're not gonna stay?" Travis says.

He was baffled at why zane had said. He knows he isn't besties with zane like he is with aphmau, but this was fucked up. Garroth would do anything for his siblings, why can't zane comprehend that?

"Dude, your brother needs help and you're just gonna leave him?" Dante adds, siding with travis.

Zane stops walking and sighs , before turning around to face them.

"I'm here aren't I? I did what you said even though you could of easily done all this yourselves." He retorts.

How dare they insult him after he did what he was asked of them. He could've and should've turn them down and not go. If he knew how ungrateful they were going to be, he'd never would've stepped one foot into their house.

"But isn't he family? You should at least be by his side." Travis tried reasoning with zane.

It didn't help at all. All that did was made zane angry.

What did they know? All the self destructing habits and struggles he had to face on his own all because of Garroth. He never got what Vlayd and Garroth had. So why is he obligated to be there for him? To zane this seemed fair.

"DON'T TELL ME ABOUT BEING THERE FOR HIM WHEN NO ONE WAS THERE FOR ME!" Zane snapps.

"he was." Laurance spoke up.

"No, he was only there when convenient for him. Anything to make him look like the perfect brother." Zane counters.

"Why are you always giving everyone the cold shoulder. Like we get it, your sad and edgy but there's so much hate." Dante voiced his honest opinions.

"I'm wasn't called for an intervention or a bonding moment with Garroth. I was called to help clean up whatever this is, and I did." Zane recalls why he was here in the first place.

And sure they had to admit, zane was right. But would it kill him to show Garroth a little bit of concern or somethin? They wanted zane to do a little more and to showed he cared.

what they didn't see was, zane had already shown he cared. He wanted an update or a phone call. He even agreed to take a look at Garroth for them. He was there. And he wanted to stay, but he knew no one liked him except for aphmau. What good would it be for him to stay if all their gonna do is insult him or blame him for something.

"So unless your gonna stop insulting me for not being a kiss ass to Garroth, I'll be going home." He glares at them before heading back to his house.

And this time no one stopped him. Who needs zane and his shitty attitude anyways. Just as zane left, Lucinda came in. She looks at Zane weirdly.

"What happened to him?" She asked the guys.

Dante just waved it off "Nothing let's go."

He leads Lucinda back into the living room where Garroth was impatiently waiting.
