[03] Everything falls down

It's been almost ten years,since Edward left Indiana . Sarah was already graduated from her high school and was still in Indiana for her university, she never really wanted to go from this place.

She grew up into a sassy chic, she was popular in the school and everybody liked her, she dated many boys too , but never got involved too much cause it was difficult for her.

In a certain period of time , Sarah was able to get out of the trauma in which Edward left her in , she was able to lead a good life. Everybody thought she was over it and she had forgotten about the incident, but nobody knew she still missed him badly , but absurd enough, she didn't wanted to meet him again . They never tried to find each on Instagram nor they ever tried to keep in contact with each other .

The previous day she turned twenty, and got many wishes from the elders for getting into college.
It was probably 4:00pm, she was lying on her bed and was reading a book, when her mother opened the door of her room,
"Hey ,honey! There is someone outside and wants to meet you ," said her mother,"Who ?"asked Sarah casually, "Well find out yourself, he is waiting at the balcony ,go" her mother insisted. When Sarah heard the word 'he' she got startled up and asked, "Do I know him ?". " Oh ! Just go ,he is waiting! " exclaimed her mother. Sarah got up from her bed and ran towards the balcony, she opened the door and .........

his back was in front of her,he was lanky and his hair was a untidy mess - bronze coloured. Although not being in contact for almost ten years , Sarah easily recognized him

. "Ed ??!!" said Sarah , Edward turned around and had a twinkle in his eyes, "Sarah!!!" he exclaimed and hugged her tightly, but Sarah didn't hugged him back . "How are you ??!!" asked Edward to Sarah, "I - I am good " said Sarah and she asked "What are -" she was interrupted by Edward, he held her hand and started walking "Let's go !" he exclaimed. "Where ?" asked Sarah ."the park of course !!" said Edward. "ah...no no !" said Sarah .

"But why ?" asked Edward."I -I really don't have a mood " said Sarah, Edward's smile faded and he asked "oh ...okay , can we at least walk along your garden " . "okay .." said Sarah.
They were still holding hands ,they walked along the garden for sometime but they didn't speak to each other .Sarah slowly started to leave Edward's hand ,he noticed it .

They walked for some more time then Edward asked ,"Long time , right ??", but Sarah didn't replied . "Sarah ?" he asked again, "Why did you came here ?" Sarah asked him out of sudden . "To meet you ,of course "said Edward . " To meet me ?" scoffed Sarah ,"Why ?why you had to meet me ??!!" Sarah snarled at him . "what are you saying ?!" Edward asked her .

"Well , you left me ten years ago here,went to NY and enjoyed your fucking life .Never had the decency to call me , never tried to keep in contact with me ,never ever tried to know how I was , where I was , or was even alive or dead . And suddenly out of nowherelse you just show up to meet me ??!!!,what shall I understand by it Edward Hale ??!!!!!!!!!!" It was the first time in ten years she said his full name ,she was in tears .

"What are you talking about ??! Why are you talking like this , And you are saying I didn't tried to keep in contact with you , what about YOU Sarah ,did YOU tried to keep in contact with me
?!! After so many years I came here to meet you and you are just ....." said Edward and then he looked the other way , he was not able to make a eye contact with her .

"Do you have any idea how much of a trauma you left me in when you went to NY ,I was broken !!, I took so much time to heal , you just enjoyed your life in that fucking BIG city !!! Did you ever missed me ??!!" shouted Sarah .
"Yes ,yes !!!! I missed you everyday !!" said Edward .

"Then why didn't you called me even for once " asked Sarah with a breathy voice . Edward didn't replied . "Because you had so many fucking opportunities, because you were making your fucking life worth living, right ??!!!! snarled Sarah

" Stop talking like that Sarah ! Just stop !! Or I am just gonna go !!" said Edward. "Yeah !! Go !! Just go ....that's what you have been doing all the time ...Go!!Fuck off !!!" shouted Sarah . "Are you serious??!!!" Edward shouted in disbelief.

"Yes , I am serious " said Sarah , she pointed at the gate of her house and shouted "Go !! Go from here and never show me your face again !!!", then she turned back and started walking to her balcony, " But Sarah!!!" shouted Edward. "I don't want to see your face again, Go !!!" she said .
"Fine !!" shouted Edward and then he stormed outside the gate and drove away , he was gone ......again .

Sarah too stormed to her room ,her mother asked if everything was alright, she didn't replied and went to her room .She was trembling and then all at once , she started crying ,the tears never stopped ,until she fell asleep .

Sarah got dressed up and went to an nearby coffee shop to meet her friend Paige. She got there and sat with her and chatted for almost two hours .Then Paige out of no where asked Sarah , "Hey I heard Ed was in town , some two days before I think , did you meet him?!" she asked excitedly .

With a blank face ,Sarah just replied ,"No ", Paige was shocked and asked " what ??!! ,you didn't meet him?!! How is that even possible !! He is your best friend Sarah !!!"

"He 'was' my best friend, not any more " said Sarah vaguely.
"But why-" Paige got interrupted by Sarah , she snarled ,"Stop it Paige , I don't wanna talk about it !!".

"fine ......" said Paige . "Let's talk about something else , what's trending now a days ??" Sarah asked Paige to make the situation normal again .

"Trending ??....let me think ..........well.... BTS's comeback is on 24th August!!!!!" exclaimed Paige .
"Other than that " said Sarah shrugging in disgust . "Ah.......then I don't know " sighed Paige . "You only know about BTS and nothing else " said Sarah coldly . "Yes and yes and yes and yes !!!!!!!!" exclaimed Paige .

After spending couple of hours with Paige , Sarah returned home, when she entered her house ,she saw her parents at the living room ,sitting but had a very tensed look on their faces .
"mom ? Dad ?? Is everything alright ?" Sarah asked them .

Her both mom and dad looked at each other in worry .., "What's wrong ??" Sarah asked them again . Her mother replied, "Umm.....the thing is , we got a call from the Hales family, yesterday when Edward was driving the car , he met with an accident". ...there was a sudden rush of adrenaline through Sarah's body , it was as if the earth under her just collapsed, she didn't even realised ,she had started sweating , " And he is okay ,right ??"Sarah asked her parents, they didn't replied, Sarah again asked them ,

"He is okay ,right ???!!!!!" her voice was trembling. Her father replied, "the doctors said that there was a huge loss of blood ,hence they couldn't save him ". Sarah almost fell down because of the shock ,her parents came to help her ,but she just ran to her room and locked the door .

And sat down, the pain was unbearable, she couldn't stop crying , she thought her heart might expload . She clearly remberred her last words to Edward , 'I don't want to see your face again ', she regretted so much !!........

Everything was falling into pieces , and those pieces could never be fathomed together again .................
