I can't believe I'm back again, I really can't.
Then again, it's the same every year when I go see my family and celebrate Charlie's birthday, watching him grow up every few weeks a year, it's surprising how much of a man he's turning into.
I was a week late, I'm the worst aunt ever.
I smile as I walk over the snowy hill leading to town, I could see the chimney of the factory already and it burned me from the inside out from just seeing it.
The only reason I came back at all was for my amazing family.
Before I knew it, I was at the door with Charlie's presents, wrapped and ready, in my arms.
A chocolate bar and a different change of clothes, a new jumper and trousers.
I got the next size up just in case it would fit him, to be honest, I would give my whole family more, but they don't ask for or want it and I can't bare it sometimes that none of them want anything from me only my love.
Giving love.
That's the only thing I'm good for.
I knocking on the door and I hear tiny, rushed footsteps heading their way to the door, I ended up smiling once the door began to open.

"Aunt Lily!" My precious nephew cried as he leapt into my arms for a hug, just moving the presents out the way, in time, to give him that hug.

"There's my favourite nephew" I cried back as I picked him up and squeezed him in my embrace.

"I'm your only nephew" Charlie replied.

"Yes, but that means I love you even more than I already do and you get my full attention every time I come to visit!" I beam, as I slowly placed him down.

"Lily!", Nathan Bucket, my brother cried, from across the home.

"Awww is my little brother missing out on my sibling love?" I chimed, with a sarcastic grin.

Nathan didn't say anything and only hurried towards me and held me close, being full with presents and Charlie still in both arms I was only able to nuzzle my brother's shirt with a smile plastered on my face.

"I missed you" he said, quietly causing me to smile even more.

"I missed you too".

"Is that my Lily?", I heard my dad ask, curiously.

I let go of Charlie and my little bro and hurried, a little, to my mum and dad waiting with happy smiles and open arms.
I quickly put down Charlie's presents and wrapped my arms around my parents, gleefully, holding them like they would break any minute.

"My darling girl, you always stay away too long" mum exclaimed, as she held me tightly.

"Yes, but I do it, because I want to make you two proud" I replied as I, reluctantly, let my parents out of my grasp.

"You already do, my dear" dad said, as he stroked my cheek.

His hand was so cold.
I heard my father-in-law start to grumble, causing me to turn my attention towards him.

"How could I forget, grandpa George and grandma Georgina?", I asked, with a little sarcasm and enthusiam, "how are you both?".

I heard Charlie giggle and saw at the corner of my eye my brother and his son smiling a little at my sarcastic question.

"Alright, I suppose" grandpa George mumbled.

"I like grapes" grandma Georgina exclaimed, with a smile.

I gave a sorry smile, I couldn't help it and neither could anyone else.
I got up from the king size bed and picked up Charlie's presents and walked over to the birthdat boy himself.

"These are for you Charlie, happy late birthday!" I exclaimed, with a big smile.

The smile on Charlie's face was always worth coming back to once a year, it was like I got my Christmas gift early.
