Unexpected

Chapter Five

~Yay! I'm so happy that people are actually reading this story :) I'd love to hear what people think of it so far :) ~

It was Jace who set the Coke down on front of me. Grabbing the can, I cracked it open and, didn't say a word. Instead I just continued to read. I could feel Jaces eyes on me but refused to look up.

Finally he spoke, "So, not even a thanks for the Coke?"

Picking up the can I took another sip and refused to acknowledge he was even here.

"The silent treatment, huh? That's a little immature, don't ya think?"

Didn't reply.

"Come on princess, you have to talk at some point."

Still didn't reply.

"PRINCESS, STOP IGNORING ME!" My head snapped up at this and I scowled at his loud, obnoxious voice.

"Shhh, be quite, please." Mrs.Milton, the old librarian semi-whispered to Jace.

"Seeing as you won't take a hint and leave me alone, what do you want?"

At this he smirked, "Princess, I'm curious as to why the sudden clothing change. Last night you were in a girly dress and today you're in the total opposite."

"Maybe I just needed a change for the new school year"

He looked at me skeptically, obviously not believeing what I just said. He just sat there looking at me. Deciding I should be the one to leave, because obviously he wasn't going to, I grabbed all my stuff and headed towards the library doors.

The rest of the day was boring, I hadn't seen Nicole or Tyler the rest of the day and luckily hadn't run into Jace after the library scene.

I hurriedly made my way to the front doors of the school and headed towards my bike.

I hopped on my bike and sped to the parking lot entrance.

I was filled with happiness when I made it home. I made it through school today, only 4 more to go.
