《I consider this to be a somewhat deep chapter so be prepared? Eh.》

Sicheng knew a lot of stuff. Stuff that mostly doesn't include him, usually having to deal with Yuta, family members, his friends and most importantly, Taeil. Sicheng met Taeil after signing up for a tutor on school grounds before actually enrolling into the university, at first paying him until Taeil would no longer accept payments because he considered him a friend.

He knew Taeil didn't have friends and not that he didn't want any but they just didn't present themselves to him. After getting to know Taeil through the couple of months, he couldn't quite understand why anyone wouldn't want to be friends with him. Yea, he didn't dress flashy and didn't look like he had much but that doesn't give anyone a right to judge him like that.

He knew that Taeil would occasionally call in sick for his part time jobs whenever he asked him to help him with, per say, a project or studying for an exam. It didn't matter what Sicheng asked, the small things were always considered by Taeil then he faced the consequences after.

After Taeil lost his fourth part time job, Sicheng realised that he was the cause of it and begged Taeil to stop doing that. He knew the small male did what he did because he didn't want to lose Sicheng but that was too much.

He knew a lot about Taeil, that he'd sacrifice himself if needs be to protect someone he cares about, even if it's just to keep the smile on their faces; on Sicheng's face.

He never met Taeil's family before and at this point, he doesn't think he has any. Whenever he would mention such matter, it would be avoided. A lot would be avoided, really, and he didn't force him to confide information he wasn't yet comfortable with sharing.

But the small things he'd always encourage Taeil to share.

For instance, the fact he needed help with school or when he is in immense pain or just needing help in general. But as usual, Taeil always had him in mind and put aside his self for later. He didn't like it so Taeil choose to lie about his well being with the thought that if Sicheng doesn't know, then he'll be okay.

He knew something was wrong the day of the planned party for his fiance. He could tell Taeil was in pain the week he came back to school after he left the party. He felt everything was off because he could read Taeil more than the said male could read himself.

Sicheng obviously knew a lot of stuff and reframed from confronting his best friend with the thought that he'll express himself willingly soon. He wanted that because then he knew he had gain Taeil's trust just as much he trusted him with his life.

He thought he knew a lot about Moon Taeil, but he was yet to crack the shell.

When Taeil came too, he was lying on his side feeling rather comfortable, thirsty but he'll live. When he opened his tired, swollen eyes, he was met with Sicheng's worried face, no room for him to breath in the oxygen.

"Hyung." Sicheng whispers, a small smile creeping its way onto his lips.

Taeil gently smiled back, whispering a small, "hi..."

"How are you feeling?" Sicheng asks worriedly, his tired eyes refusing to leave Taeil's own weary orbs.

Before Taeil even thought of replying to Sicheng's question of reassurance, he reached a weak hand down to his tummy and started to rub, soothingly, his hand across the covered flesh. Taeil's gentle voice reached out to Sicheng almost in a soft panic, faintly asking, "i-is the baby--"
