Baekhyun was still astonished at the huge confession and to think he couldn't make that assessment himself. Chanyeol told him about Taeil when Jimin kept blabbering about a pretty hyung he met with Youngho but he wouldn't have thought he'd be the father. He didn't even think of the fact Youngho didn't tell them because the tall male treated them like associates even after knowing them for years; even though they are family.

He never thought he'd see the day Youngho acknowledge someone, hell, him being a father was far from his mind. The Youngho before him now was not the Youngho he knew all these years. This was a different Youngho. Was it a better Youngho? He'll have to find out.

"Baekhyun.. is Taeil okay?" Baekhyun heard Youngho address him. Youngho may look calm on the outside but he could tell, by him not calling him Dr. Park, he was worried. This was a rare sight for Baekhyun.

Youngho's eyes never left Taeil's frame even as the small male was looking at Baekhyun worriedly. Youngho's arms were now by his side again, visible hand forming a frustrating fist. He seemed like he wanted to do something but his own body was preventing it like a traffic light left on red.

Baekhyun cleared his throat as he adjusted his glasses on the his nose and walked over to the side of Taeil's bed and gave his shoulder a reassuring touch before he proceeded to inform what the matter was. "Yes, Taeil is okay but before I continue," Baekhyun paused and turned to Yuta with a smile and asks, "may I know who you are?"

Yuta pointed wide eyed at himself and stuttered out, "Y-uta. I'm Taeil's friend."

"He's my fiance," Sicheng further added, smiling at Baekhyun who gave a simple nod and said 'nice to meet you' before diverting his eyes to Taeil then Youngho. 

"So, based on the results I have so far, Taeil it seems you are showing early signs of Preeclampsia but I can't be sure until I get the blood work," Baekhyun began, seeing how Taeil slowly reached for Youngho's fisted hand and held it. Baekhyun looked at Youngho's reaction and it didn't seem to bother him. His hand stopped making a fist and he was just looking at Taeil's hand holding his.

"So far, the results I have," Baekhyun flipped the pages from the clipboard, glimpsing through it, his eyes sorting through the information received, "it seems your blood pressure is high. Taeil I told you to relax." Baekhyun scolded, a slight frown forming between his eyebrows. It wasn't at Taeil, it was more at the fact that the younger male was probably stressing all along, by his side and he didn't physically do anything to prevent it or at least lessen it.

Taeil's face was still pale and he seemed so drained that Baekhyun actually thought it was more than what he stated. Taeil most have been very distraught and him knowing that it was caused by stress wasn't making it any better.

"Stress was the main factor of Taeil's complication but there isn't any real damage done. He was possibly feeling abnormal abdominal pain because of his panic. I'm waiting on the urine test result to check for protein and also the blood result, but you don't need to worry. You and the baby will be okay." Baekhyun reassured him but Taeil didn't seem to have heard anything after 'Preeclampsia'.

"I-it's my fault.." they heard Taeil whisper then a tear slip down his cheeks, his smaller hand squeezing Youngho's hand and Sicheng was just about ready to fly to Taeil until he saw the older male make a move.

"Don't say that," Youngho says softly, now holding back Taeil's soft hand he was hesitating to hold, "if it's anyone's fault it's mine, so don't blame yourself. You're okay, our baby is okay. So just relax, yea?"
