During the sixties, two teens began to fall in love, one being the nerd as the other one being the so called "popular" type. And I'm not gonna spoil sooooo

The tall teenaged boy had his feet dangling out of the twin bed that was decorated in light pink sheets and blankets. The girl on the other hand was snuggled under him, feeling perfectly safe from the room that was almost pitch black. She could only see the boy's face, and she had to admit, he was handsome with and without his glasses. With their clothes scattered around the bed, the boy whispered into the girls ear, caressing her back as he told her sweet-nothings.

She could tell he wore his special cologne tonight, she didn't know he was coming over.

The two live in apartments that are right next to each other. The boy always had a view of the pink and purple cluster, and the record player that would blast music at 2AM, and her vanity that had makeup scattered about. Let's not forget the summer night's where she would have the window open while changing into her clothes, sometimes he thinks she does that in order to tease him.

Meanwhile the girl had a perfect view of his white colored walls and the accents of red and blue. His baseball flags and elements table both hung over his bed, sometimes the girl would catch him mindlessly staring at the elements table in the middle of the night. But this is too far ahead in time, let's travel back a few months...

Aphmau's POV:

I walked into the large empty apartment that was only a block away from our old one. Mom says we have to stay in the upper west side, she claims the south has to much trouble. Meanwhile, I searched for the perfect room for me, and eventually found it, it was like the corner of the apartment. Right by a nice view of some guys bedroom. Fantastic. But, it was too late to change, betting my father and mom already picked a place to put their stuff.

I was always mentioned as the "rich" kid. Yeah, I mean having the latest lipstick and all is fun, until you literally have all the latest lipstick. Then it goes downhill. I can already tell you my life is going to be boring. Graduate from high school, go to college, get married, have two or three kids and then die. No wonder why I've been so bad lately, yelling at my mother, yelling at the teachers. Oh and the party last week, can't forget everyone talking about seeing me shirtless. I also developed a smoking habit, but everyone smokes, so it's fine.

When I dumped all my clothes on top of the twin bed that was already there, I glance once more at the room that was across from me. The fire escape that was outside kind of blocked the view, but I could see a boy laying in his bed, reading. What a nerd.

Later on...

Me being me, I felt like having a fit at dinner, (we ordered take out), so I took the cigarettes, and fortune cookies and stormed off to my room. I hate when I do this, but something about it gives me relief? I climbed out of my window and sat on the fire escape, the chilly night air made it difficult to light the cigarette. As I was having difficulties, I noticed the boy was staring at me from his window, "need any help?" He smirked.

"How can you help from here?" I chuckled.

"Turn the lighter away from the wind." I could here the duh underneath his breath. "Aren't you that cheerleader?" He asked. I recognized his face, he was the-

"Mathlete." I took a puff. "Correct?"

"Correct." He smiled. I never realized how he was so, handsome? I always viewed him as some try hard, but he's actually kinda cute.."why you've been at the meetings?"

I let out a laugh, "hell no, I would die if I had to sit there for an extra thirty minutes after school." He chuckled along. "Been paying attention to me then?" I could see him blush from over here.

"Pfft, no." He lied.

"I've seen you at practices."

"I have a sister."

"What does she look like?" He stuttered a bit.

"Brown hair, brown eyes? Melissa?"

"She quit three months ago." I giggled at his dumbfounded look, caught red handed. "So what are you doing looking at girls in short skirts? Huh perv?" I smiled.

"Well preferably I would only want to see you out there, in a short skirt." He smiled as I snorted.

"Shut up." I let out a calming sigh, "what's your name?"

"Aaron, and you are?"

"Aphmau." I puffed out the smoke once again.

"Pretty name." My eyes glanced down at his blue sweater he wore, I didn't realize he was so muscular, did he look like this before?

"When did you hit puberty?" He has a questionable look.

"I've always looked like this, you must have not been paying attention." Oh trust me, I'll start paying attention from now on.

"Your right," I heard knocking on my door, I quickly put out my cigarette and threw the ashes on the ground. "Yes?" I shouted.

"Who are you talking to?" My mom answered.

"Myself?" I saw Aaron snicker. She then just abruptly stopped as I heard her footsteps disappear.

"Well Aphmau, I may see you at school tomorrow." He sighed, "night." He saluted me as I mimicked him back, as he finally made me lovesick with his famous smile.

Now your probably wondering how he got inside my room, well let me explain.

I had just played a record to cover up the sounds of the dogs barking, before I heard the bang on my window, at first I thought it was a bird, but it turned out to be Aaron. He was all sweaty, and blushing, his glasses were slightly foggy as his panting messed up his words. "What?" I asked him to repeat.

"I'm horny." My eyes widened as he grabbed my waist, pulling me into his lap, and into a kiss. You can probably see what happened from there.

All I can say is thank god my parents made us move. Now I think I'm dating a nerd.

A hot nerd, to be corrected.
