When Rachel was busy brushing her teeth, Charlie, her little brother, came to give her her lunch. 'Are you sure you don't want real food, 'cause I'm sure you need it.', Charlie said with a grossed out face. 'I don't have a choice, I need to keep it a secret right?', Rachel replied. When she got to school, she found herself as the center of her class again, the teachers relied on her as the student counsel president and her boyfriend cared for her as usual, nothing was different.
-nothing unusual today as well, huh?-
Rachel thought. When class was over she stayed a little longer to fill in some documents. While doing that she felt so empty inside that she thought nothing of it. She sighed. The bell rang and lunchtime began. Rachel found herself with her friends and boyfriend eating human food. 'And then, he came to me and was like,"hey, do you know where your best friend is?" I was like why are you asking me that?' , Kylie said. 'That guy must be after Rachel no doubt about it, better ignore him next time,he could be dangerous.' Mike replied worried. Rachel was thinking why someone would be after her, it's a normal day after all. Maybe it was Noah, her big brother, he could be here to give her some fresh blood. 'Rachel? Rachel!'
Mike broke her thoughts 'yeah? Sorry I wasn't listening, what were you saying?' Mike looked worried 'Are you okay? You were out of it the whole day, do we need to go the schoolnurse?' , Mike said. Rachel realised that she actually didn't feel good now that she ate sandsiches. She replied saying 'I'm fine, I just need to go to the toilet, I'll be back.' After that she went to the toilet and threw up
-like I thought nothing's changed- Rachel thought. And with that the day went on as usual.
