"I knew it," my dad mumbles.

"I never thought it would be her," my mom says.

My sister just stares at me. I know she is envious, scared, and upset, I can see it in her eyes.

I just received a letter that says I have been chosen to go to Nesrerra School of Supernatural Creatures. I don't know what to think. I knew I was different, but I didn't think I was that different. The letter says I will be picked up in two days, so I have to get packed really quickly. I begin to pack, and my sister comes into my room.

"Did you know?" she asks.

"About what?" I ask.

"ABOUT YOU BEING WEIRD!" she yells.

"Just because I, have been accepted into that school does not mean I am weird," I say calmly.

"Yes, it does, you are being accepted, into a school of FREAKS!!" she says.

"Then I am a freak? Do you think I am a freak? What if you got into the school and I didn't? What if I called you a freak? How would you feel?" I say getting angry.

"No....no....no that's not what I meant," she says her voice pleading for me to forgive her.

"GET OUT NOW!!" I yell at her.

Her eyes are filled with terror as she runs out. I turn and look in the mirror. My once blonde hair now black as night. My eyes a deep purple compared to the electric ones I had. I am one of the last of my kind. I am a Dreamer. One of the most dangerous creatures to live. I need to calm down. I can't let anyone else know what I am.

2 days later

I couldn't sleep last night, I was so excited. I hear a honk outside, I jump out of my bed, grab my bag, and run out of the door. I don't dare to say goodbye to my family, I know it won't end well. I walk outside and get into the black car with blacked out windows. I shut the door, and the driver starts driving as fast as he or she (I couldn't really tell) can, getting closer and closer to a tall brick building. The building comes closer and closer.

Woosh

A blinding light forces me to look away from the windshield.

As soon as we stopped, I look out of the car windows. The school is huge, I can't even put into words what it looks like. It is so modern, the white exterior walls, the large windows, and the solar panels.  I look around to look at all of the people around me.

Of course, you have the most common types of creatures, vampires, werewolves, people who have telepathy, partial dragons, and partial snakes.

How do I know this? I don't know... Must be a perk of being a dreamer.

Then, there are people more like me, rarer to find, harder to distinguish.

"Get out," a gruff voice says pulling me out of my thoughts.

As I step out of the car, everyone looks up and stares at me. They're all wondering what I am, but they can't find out.

I follow the driver inside the school. Once inside I get more stares, but I also see an adult. She seems to be a vampire but I can tell something is off about her. But, I don't know exactly what.

"Hello, I am Ms. Cassidy! You must be Evin. I will be showing you to your dorm room, and I will get you a schedule," she says smiling.

I nod.

"Okay Evin follow me," she says.

The woman, Ms. Cassidy leads me down a long corridor. She turns into a room, holding the door open for me to walk in.
