"1...0...6," Thomas murmured in Sia's left ear. Her heart pounding and pulse beating in her ears, blocking out what he said next. Sweat poured down her body as she stayed still as possible. She could no longer control her hands; they were shaking in an odd trembling rhythm. She contacted her muscles and immediately put her hands on her ears so she could listen nothing.

Sia cried out louder,"No...No..." She raised her voice, shut her eyes. "Go away...leave...go!," she was scared out of her wits. She felt a force on her shoulders as someone wanting her not to block her ears. It was hard for her to remove the hands but the force won.

"Sia...Sia what happened," Jennifer astounded at her. She opened her eyes and looked at Jennifer. Sia's heart began to hammer against her chest.

"Th....Th...Thomas," she choked. "Thomas, but he isn't here. Where is he? Did he left?" Jennifer asked. Sia looked around, the color quickly drained from her face. She wondered where he went after saying just three numbers 106.

"He went without informing. Why?..." Jennifer pondered,"Are you alright Sia? I think you must get some rest. We will talk later." Jennifer said rubbing her on Sia's cheeks.

Sia's teeth chattered in fear. She nodded at Jennifer. Jennifer brought her two sleeping pills and she went to sleep in Jennifer's room. Jennifer's room had two platform beds about 8 foot apart. A double hung window between them. An old wooden combo dresser in the corner.

Sia's arms swayed, simultaneously, back and forth, as her stilt-like legs seemed to be carrying her from point A to point B; mechanically in motion one leg thrust forward as the other tried, rhythmically, to catch up.

"Clackity-Clack," she was walking in a house, the lack of light bothered her. Darkness suffocating her body like a damp, musty, thick blanket, clinging to every inch of her pale skin.

She stepped from one room to another. Nothing she could see but feel the ground beneath her. She stopped by the wall as she set her eyes on something resting on the floor, away from her. It was looking like a corpse inside a morgue.

Sia nudged towards it. She came near and knelt down beside it. She moved her hand to see the face. Someone pattered behind her. She turned her face at her back. She found no one behind. She stood for couple of seconds, blinking her eyes.

She slowly turned her face back towards the body in white cover. "Myla," a sudden voice from the same women she had seen before, jammed up close to her face.

It roused Sia from her deep sleep. Her heart skipped a beat. The sudden shock made her tense her muscles. She opened her mouth but no scream came. Terror sucked the very breath from her mouth. She wore her spectacles, placed on the side of the pillow. She moved her hand in her hair and caught the sight of Jennifer.

Jennifer was sitting on the other bed, working on the laptop, at the left side of Sia. She looked at Sia and said,"Oh thanks to God you wake up...you know what's the time? Its 9 o'clock, you have slept for more than 8 hours." She shut down the laptop and turned at Sia.

Sia did not answer Jennifer. She tried not to panic. "Sia...Sia why are you acting so strange since morning?" Jennifer questioned her. "Jenny..." Sia sighed and looked in her eyes. Lights shut down.

"Oh God help me..." Jennifer talked to oneself. Sia dazed at the very moment. "Leave it...Sia what were you saying?" Jennifer asked catching Sia's attention. Sia steady her breath and try to calm the panic.
