Later that night, Calum invited Nicole to go out on a bar but she insisted they'd go to a lake instead.
So they sat there and stayed there for a while, enjoying each others presence.
"Calum?" she called as he looked at her. "What will you do if you found out that I'm not real?"
Calum pulled a confuse look, "What do you mean, 'not real'?"
"I mean, that I really don't exist that everything is just a dream." she sighed.
Calum shake his head, "I don't know. I'd kill myself just to be with you, you know. If you really don't exist." he said, "But if you're just my imagination then I won't stop imagining of you."
"You'd really do that?" she smied.
He nods, "Yeah, I like you Nicole. A lot."
"I like you too, Calum." she was about to lean when his phone rang and he answered it.
"Hello?"
"Calum? Mom and I will be out, okay? If you're going home with a friend, be sure to keep the house clean. Understand?" Mali's voice was heard.
"Yeah, sure." he said then hung up and looked at Nicole. "Want to go and wander around for a while?"
Then she nod and they both wandered around, hand-in-hand they walk.
Afterwards, they went home and they both went into his room and watched late night movies.
Calum's arms were around Nicole and her head on his chest.
"Calum- I think I'm leaving now. See you tomorrow though." Nicole was about to stand up when Calum stopped him.
"Stay." Calum whispered.
"Calum, I need to go now. I promise we'll hang out tomorrow." she said as she hugged him and peck his cheek. "Bye for now." then she left his house.
When Calum slept, he was waiting Nicole to show up but she never did. Calum was sad, sitting alone on the swing, staring at the water in front of him.
'Why didn't she showed up?' he asked himself. 'Did I do something wrong?'
Questions kept running through his head and when he felt the swing moved on his peripheral view, he quickly looked at it to see no one.
"Calum.." someone whispered and he looked around to look for the person calling him.
"Who's there?" he asked as he stood up.
"It's me, Nicole." she said.
He squinted his eyes, "I don't see you."
"It's because I am hiding from you, Caum." she sighed.
"Why are you hiding from me? I'm waiting for you to show up but you never did. Within minutes, I'll be waking up and now you've decided to show up now?" He said, anger in his voice.
"I'm sorry but I can't show you myself." she said.
"Why not? Come on, Nicole. Don't tell me that I'll be scared of you!" Calum shouted.
There was no response from Nicole so he sighed as he ran his hand through his hair, frustratedly.
When he turned he saw once again a bloody Nicole and he jumped, "Sorry." Nicole apologized.
He shake his head as he left Nicole alone.
"Calum! Wait, why are you leaving? It's not time to wake up yet!" Nicole yelled.
"It is-" Calum said then counted in his head from 5 to 1 then his alarm started to ring, "-there it is."
