I couldn't sleep all night. Adrenaline was rushing through me, I was entering my new life. Actually, the first day seemed to be dull and irritating, and it really was. Right until that guy told my grandma the thing she's probably never heard towards her. I mean, people surely thought that, when she acted like, well like she, but no one EVER told her that. That's why I laughed my lungs out, because my grand Lady D had this face, I would give everything to see again. You would think that I don't love her and being disrespectful. But I do love her, I don't like many things about her, but I love. She's the only person I have.
I look at my watch, it's 7am,time to wake up. It's Sunday and I have the whole day for myself. I look at the mirror and see an 18 year old girl, who's hair have a hay color, eyes are green or gray, it depends on the light. I'm slim, not really tall, I'd even say short, but I met shorter people, so I'm in the middle I suppose. The Sun obviously likes my face, because my nose is covered with freckles. I'm cute, but not a model type of beauty. My mother was. And Lady D, of course. She's a luxurious woman and I am, just me. Too simple to be admired in poems, or being a muse to some great artists.
I decide to wear my H&M white simple dress and a pair of white Converse. If my dear granny knows I bought these clothes, she would probably burn it. But now I don't have to hide it, which is I am very happy about. I decide to go and find where to have a breakfast, because I am hungry as hell. I walk along the corridor, then turn left, turn again and go straight... Okay, I got lost. I start to panic a little, because I don't like not being able to control the situation, I start to look for someone to help me, but it seems everyone is resting. Of course they are its Sunday morning. When I was three years old, I got lost. My mom went to throw something away and told me to wait for hear on the beach. We were in Cannes, as I can remember. She was away for quite a long time. And I decided to look for her. I was running along the seaside, but she wasn't there. All these buildings and cafes seemed the same. My parents have been looking for me for two hours, I was sitting on the rock, crying silently and thinking that I'll never ever see my mom and dad. If I knew that in a few years my terrible thoughts will be real.
Right at that moment I see him, this guy from yesterday. I don't really want to ask him any questions but he's the only person here. So I run for him and scream :"Hey! I am sorry, I got lost, could you please tell me where is the diner or another place to eat?"
He is staring at me like I am a wild animal, which escaped from the forest and trying to eat his heart out. I am waiting for a response, but he stays silent.
"Soo.. Will you help me or not?" I don't understand why is he saying nothing, he's definitely not deaf.
"No" the boy answers and begins to walk away.
"But I am lost in here, can you just tell me where to go and I'll leave you alone" I say.
"Let's begin with the part where you leave me alone, shall we?" stranger boy says and walks faster turning right.
As I try to follow him, because his steps are way too big and I can't catch him up, I turn right and suddenly bump into someone's chest and fall on the floor. Well, such a good start of the day. As I lift my eyes up and begin apologizing I see two people. They are
so similar to each other that I think I bumped my head too hard and have some sort of vision. But then I see a boy and a girl, both blonde with kind grey eyes and I understand that they are definitely siblings."Oh, are you okay? Jack, do you ever mind where you are walking? I told you you're a grizzly relative" the girl says.
"So do you then, Louisiana. I am so sorry, are you okay?" Jack asks me as they help me to stand up
"Don't know about that, it seems like I was just attacked by a grizzly bear" I respond
The boy laughs : "If you can joke you are definitely all right. I am Jack Crum and that's my sister Lou"
