My body instantly came into alert. I gritted my teeth. What was a vampire doing here? Every word stung only fueling the fire that burned inside of me. Every violated phrase was like gasoline to it, my fists began to clench and my jaw rooted. For now, i don't really have the time to think about anything. I should keep up my guard in front of this monster and analyse the situation. It's the first thing I've learned in the vampire slayer academy. He looked in his thirty even though we all know that those creatures of the night are immortals. With his fierce golden eyes and dark hair, he wore a big smile on his pale face which irritated me. Second thing, one should not beat around the bush with a vampire even though they would try to play around.
"Why had you send me this letter?", i said, directly going to the subject.
As anticipated, he did not reply my question. Rather he was amused. Fucking bloodsucker.
The pale face walked slowly towards me shortening the distance between us only a little. This masquerade really touched my nerve.
"Oh. You don't know my dear friend," he said calmy.
3rd rule : Play to their game until you get all you want to know.
"Not if you don't tell me."
"It seems my dear buddy... ," he paused "Vladimir Blade isn't it?... Or should i call you Vladimir Weincroff?
I felt my anger coming. He also investigated on me. How much time had he done it? If so he knows who i am then. But what was the purpose of all these scene.
"As you see," he continued, " I've searched about you and also about this girl."
Slowly, i fear that i started to know the reason of his presence here.
"If you cooperate, it will be easier for both of us but if you don't, am afraid that I'll be left with no choice than to make use of other means."
I froze. What I've heard really stricken me. Many thoughts and questions comes into my mind. How could he have known about this? This secret was supposed to be hold by few. There must be a traitor. If i got my hand on that person , I'll make sure he'll have a long and painful death.
"Have you make your choice?"
I glared at him with a smirk. "Yes and i chose the hard way."
After saying that, i stand on my guard and summon my sword. "Green land and white sky, hear my voice, hear my command bring me my sheath, bring me my sword, I'll crush this demon through the earth."
A bright light appeared forming in front of me. It lightly disappeared leaving a claymore sword. I grabbed hold of it. It was a bit heavy. When was the last time i summon it.
Now the real talk begin.

" If you really want it this way, prepare yourself for a realllllly painful death, " he said, cracking his fingers.
In one instant he lunged at my throat. It all happened very fast and the only thing i could do was to lift up my sword in a defensive position. I felt his hand over the sword. He was inhumanely strong. It was slowly pushing me down to my knee. I apply pressure on my feet trying to suppress his attack. It was a fierce one because he rapidly step back. Nevertheless, i still feel pain into my knee and feet.
He glared at me in a nasty look. "I have to admit that you're strong." Then he laughed. "But it won't be sufficient to defeat thousands years of experience."
He's right. Am not strong enough. It had been years I've not trained. I can't even hold that huge sword properly for a long time. I need to stay on the defensive side till i found a gap.
In the meantime, he had not lose time. He surged an another attack. This one took me by surprise. I barely feel anything coming.A sudden gush of pain jolted throughout my body. I feel a severe pain in my stomach, and arms lost tension and my legs began to weaken. I need to lean onto my sword to not falling down. But it's not the time to give up.When it comes to fighting vampire there's no honour, no code. All that matters is the win. But this principle belongs to the true vampire slayer. I've become one only for one main purpose : to protect Eva.
"Not broken yet?"
I leaned on my sword to get into my feet. I really need to summon a healing spell. It won't heal entirely - only a witch could do that - but it will be of great help given my situation.
"Omnipotens....," i spat out blood "vocant sum sana me ad vos." i whispered slowly.
It didn't worked. I should have said it in a single phrase.
"Trying to use another incantation?", i heard the vampire said in an amused tone. "What is it this time? Summoning stake?" Then he laughed cruelly.
Then he charged in again. This time i feel it in my bone. I felt a sharp attack in my abdomen crushing my ribs.
"You did feel this one right?" and then again this cruel laughed echoed on the cliff.
I tried to assemble the courage left in me and give it one last shot. "Omnipotens vocant sum sana me ad vos." i whispered.
"Another vain attempt, i see."
I looked at him. "Nope. This time it worked."
I could see his grinning face turned into a grim one as i feel my body submerged in a powerful air. He tried to stop it but he was repulsed to the ground. Now that I had enough juice in me, i lift up my sword though my arm was still a bit in pain. I marched towards the vampire who was still recovering from it. He tried to make an attack again but his agile movement was becoming far too slow. He's draining in energy.
"From your thousands years of experience, don't you know that one should never interrupt a summoning?, I said, sarcasm dripping from my voice.
He was really in a pity state. He got half of his beauty face burned by the summoning power and it had clearly done severe damage to his body. This time it will be him or I.
I raised my weapon upon my head prepare for the attack.
"Why would you a vampire slayer allied with our species?"
I was taken aback by this and missed my blow. It landed on his chest.
"A hunter like you didn't figure this out. I thought your babbling was full of information.Instead it was just trash. You don't know me as you pretend to say."
He was lying on his back, blood spreading aprt from his body. This won't be enough to kill him. I took out my weapon from his chest for the final blow. I really feel like I'm going to passed out in a minute or two. That's why I need to be quick. I prepared my weapon for a second throw.
He grimaced. "Don't you fear that there will be others who will track her down after my death?"
He was testing me in order for me to spare his life. But i knew better. "Don't you think I've not learned that vampire hunter worked solo," i said " Oh.. . And thank you for this foolish mistake."
His expression turned into horror as he saw the blade piercing his heart.
I watched as he slowly disintegrate into ashes leaving my sword anchored into the ground."Lateo," i said and it disappeared.
Suddenly i feel very weak.The healing spell starts to dissipate. I really need to be quick otherwise I'll be left there. I hurried back to my car even though I feel my body refusing to cooperate.
As i enter the car, i managed to grab my phone and dial a number before i lose consciousness.
