In the outskirts of Cairo,Egypt.

How did they build it?

This ancient wonder...

Mesmerises me...

Should have been a princess...

Wish i was...

To have rested in peace here...

Located on the outskirts of Cairo,

The massive sculpture...

known as the great sphinx.

popularised in Hellenistic times,

The Great pyramid,

listed by Antipates if sidon

as one of the seven wonders.

It is a marvel,

It is in my wish-list.

to visit this place.

The architecture planning

is thrilling and outstanding.

consisting of great pyramids,

khujus pyramid complex,

khafre's pyramid complex,

Menkauris pyamid complex,

the sphinx,

the tomb of queen khentkaus 1.

It was a thought once,

there was a life,

inspite of reaching the heavenly abode.

So was the pyramid constructed,

to celebrate the after life.

There was a worker's village.

for 40,000 men's team work.

for 20 long years.

with three month shifts.

with 100,000 men at a time.

with all facilities,made for them.

Tombs of egyptian rulers.

lying here,as they rest in peace.

Helping students mathematically,

in the early study of triangles.

based on trigonometry.

This wonder is spectacular.

It is valuable,

both philosophically and architecturally,

It deserves the honorary mention,

If i get a chance,

to visit here,

i consider it a boon.
