The Beginning of Something New...

Chapter 2- The Lake

"We are almost here." Jin whispers in your ear. The sun is setting and the sky is a musky pink. He puts his thin, long hands over you eyes and asks, "Do you trust me?"

You've grown really close to Jin today. You thought that maybe celebrities acted nice on stage but weren't in person. However Jin was the most caring person you've ever met. You felt so warm when he stared into your eyes and smiled. You are fascinated as to where he is taking you.

"Of course I trust you" 

He starts gently moving you forwards, one of his arms is on your back, steadying you as he says "Good we are almost there...I'm so excited- you will love it!"

You walk for almost half an hour. The wind feels strong and aggressive on your skin but with Seokjin holding you, you feel safe.

As he stops you and takes his hands off your eyes, all you can see is stars. Twinkling stars lighting up the dark night across a lake. The moon's gleam of light reflects on the water and makes Jin's face glow. He looks like a young boy with his eyes shining just like  they used to at the concerts. There is only one thing you think that you can say:

"Worldwide Handsome"

He chuckles as he slings his arm around your shoulder. The longer you look around, the more you realise why Jin loves this place so much. The soft 'whoosh' of the willow tree you two are sitting under...the quiet trickle of water from the lake...and the stars like glitter scattered across the skies. 

"You are so cold y/n...here, have my hoodie"

Before you can protest, he already begins taking off his hoodie. You catch a glimpse of his abs and you can't help but feel flustered. When he puts the hoodie on you, you feel so cozy. His hoodie is fluffy and long and you feel...cute. Jin would be such a great boyfriend or father, you think to yourself. He's so friendly and caring. You curl into a ball and Jin begins to give you a hug. 

"Jin...I'm so sorry" you muffle into his shirt.

He sits up with a slight look of concern on his face.

"Y/N what's wrong?" Jin asks as he looks you in the eye.

You feel so guilty for wasting his time. Jin probably had other plans to go places but you ruined them.

"I'm sorry I ruined your day. I'm probably annoying you and I don't deserve to be here."

Jin's face looks absolutely horrified and he rests his hands on your shoulders in a firm but caring way.

"Y/N don't ever say that again! You've made my day- it would've been so boring without you. I miss being so close with someone...thank you for today...I never want this moment to end" 

He lifts the hood of his hoodie on your head as he hugs you again. The moment is so calm as you stare at the scenery...and then it happens. Your stomach rumbles. It's a small sound but Jin definitely heard it. He giggles with his high-pitched windshield laugh and he cutely pinches your cheeks.

"Haha you must be hungry!" He exclaims as he jumps to his feet. He holds your hands and pulls you up. 

Still holding your hand, Jin suddenly starts walking you somewhere, not saying a word. 

"Where are we going Jin?" You ask but as he did last time, he winks and says, "You reminded me of something..."

You don't know what you did to remind him of something but you don't question it. In fact, the only thing you are questioning is how Jin is so perfect. He's holding your hand as you both start humming Epiphany. When it comes to the chorus, you both sing really loud.

"I'M THE ONE I SHOULD LOVE IN THIS WORLD"

You two both laugh so much as people in the streets give you weird looks. You usually hate yourself, trying to hide and not stand out too much but being around Jin makes you feel care-free and confident. You wish you could spend more than just a day with him...

"Y/N, we are here"
