Roger stood at a ticket booth to get a ticket that was reserved for him. The ticket master gave him two tickets.
"I'm sorry, I think there's only supposed to be one." Roger protested.
"Actually there's two." Someone spoke.
Roger looked over to see Brian with his big curly hair. He took the tickets. Roger smiled as they took hands. Brian wanted to make up for what happened the other night. The two faced the steps to the theater.
"I've always wanted to go to the theater." Roger smiled.
They began to walk up the steps until someone interrupted.
"Brian, is that you?" Someone said.
"Hello mother, father." Brian croaked.
He didn't want something horrible to happen again. Like the other night.
"This is Roger. Roger Taylor." Brian adressed.
Roger smiled at them. But he was concerned of why Brian seemed so nervous at the moment.
"Son, isn't he one of those circus freaks? Also, that's a male." Brian's father insulted.
Roger looked hurt again. The blonde then ran down the stairs with tears in his eyes.
"Roger, wait." Brian called.
Roger looked back at him with the same heartbroken look he had the other night. He disappeared into the darkness feeling hurt and heartbroken again.
Brian felt horrible for his parents actions and for himself.
"How dare you speak to him that way!" Brian fumed.
He ran down the stairs. Filled with anger and guilt. He walked outside in the dead of night. He knew he couldn't find Roger outside. But he knew where he might have went. He eventually made it. He walked into the building which was where Freddie's shows were held. He saw Roger practicing. He looked so graceful and beautiful. Brian watched him until Roger noticed he had an audience.
"What are you doing here?" Roger asked as he started fixing up the rope he swung from.
"I just wanted to apologize for my parents." Brian replied, "And I want to apologize too."
"You don't need to apologize for anything. Also you didn't do anything wrong. I get criticized all the time." Roger explains.
"You know I want you." Brian admitted.
Roger stopped what he was doing and looked directly at Brian.
"It's not a secret I try to hide." Brian expressed, "I know you want me, so quit saying your hands are tied. You claim it's not in the stars but fate is pulling you miles away and out of reach from me. But you're here in my heart so who can decide that you're my destiny."
As he said this he walked closer to Roger.
"What if we rewrite the stars and the world could be ours tonight?" Brian sang.
Roger grinned. He pulled the rope and up he went. Brian tries to grab it but was too late.
"You think it's easy? You think I don't want to run to you. But there are mountains and walls that we can't walk through. I know you're wondering why because we're able to be just you and me within these walls. But when we go outside you're going to wake up and find that it was hopeless after all." Roger emphasized trying to deny his feelings for the curly haired brunette.
Brian watched him stand on the rails of a balcony and jumped on a hoop.
"No one can rewrite the stars. How can you say you'll be mine? Everything keeps us apart, and I'm not the one you were meant to find. It's not up to you, it's not up to me. When everyone tells us why we can be. How can we rewrite the stars, say that the world could be ours tonight." Roger proclaimed.
He noticed Brian grabbed onto the hoop and was dangling from it. He then let go and managed to land on his feet.
Roger sighed, he couldn't deny it. He was in love with Brian like Brian was in love with him. The two then held onto a rope and were in each other's arms.
"All I want is to fly with you!" Brian exclaimed.
"All I want is to fall with you!" Roger smiled.
"So just give me all of you."
"It feels impossible."
"It's not impossible."
"Say that it's possible!" They both sing at the same time.
They could rewrite the stars. They were made for eachother. Roger could no longer deny his feelings. But what if it couldn't work? What if something could break them? He really wanted Brian, but something could break them. They both stood close to eachother. They could have shared a kiss. But Roger had to say something that would hurt.
"You know I want you. It's not a secret I try to hide. But I can't have you. We're bound to break and my hands are tied." Roger said.
He walked out of the room. Brian needed somebody else to rewrite the stars with. Even though Roger really wanted him, he was afraid of love and doubted his feelings.
