CHAPTER ELEVEN: TINKERBELL

3rd Person's Point Of View.

"What are you drinking? Iced tea?" Donghyun sounded very curious. He swore he didn't see any juice drinks on the menue.

She raised her cup. "Nope. Iced Americano."

"Iced Americano?!" He exclaimed. "Americano that's cold?"

"Uh. Yea." She chuckled. "It's new in this cafe."

He mentally slapped himself. He's been wasting money and coffee for a while now and he didn't even bother asking for cold drinks. 'Stupid, Donghyun. Stupid.'

He made a mental note that he will order the iced next time.

"So, are you with your girlfriend?" Donghyun froze to the question and In Ha noticed that. "Ah. I'm sorry for being nosey."

In Ha felt so small for asking a question. She just remembered seing his post from social media. But Donghyun shook his head then smiled. "No. It's fine."

Awkwardly, In Ha sipps from her drink.

"Let's not talk about that." She insisted and was about to open another topic when Donghyun spoke.

"No. I-I actually want to talk about it."

"Donghyun, that's enough. You're drunk."

"Noo~! I'm having a good time."

Both of them headed to a bar. As In Ha knew that Donghyun was having a hard time, she knew that he needed it.

"You know, In Ha, I dreamed of having her as my wife. But---HAHAHA well.." He was wasted and In Ha was feeling bad for the man.

Love, indeed is cruel.

In Ha didn't drink much because she knew that he would end up this way. She is now fully aware that Donghyun has another reason why he came back from Seoul. It was because he wanted to move on from his ex that cheated on him.

"Donghyun, let's get you home." She stood from where she was sitted then tried to grab hold of the boy. But Donghyun kept on saying no. "You're wasted."

"Fineee~" Donghyun finally agreed after what it felt like forever.

It was difficult for In Ha to get the man to his car. And, gosh, she was thankful that she didn't bring her car with her unless she needs to get it afterwards. She wouldn't dare let the broken boy drive all alone so she drived him home.

"Tell me where you live." She asked kindly. And Donghyun answered with a low voice but it was clear enough for In Ha to understand.

It was silent as the girl was trying to drive Donghyun home. But when Donghyun was slightly conscious, he began talking and rambling again.

"I wish that I have fallen in love with a girl that already loves me. It hurts falling alone without anyone to catch you. It's shi--"

"Yah. Don't curse." In Ha stopped Donghyun even before he could finish talking.

He soon released a chuckle. "Ah! Why can't I just fall in love with someone like you?" He chuckled again but In Ha was just quietly listening. She wasn't sure of what she would say ultimately because the boy speaking and making her heart undeniably crazy is drunk, not only that but also broken. He was desperate and lonely.

"You're pretty.. Kind, smart, fun, comfortable, and look~ you helped me, your classmate who didn't even bother contacting you despite having tha knowledge of you liking me."

In Ha almost choked when she hesrd about what Donghyun had said. "Wait. You knew?"

Slowly he nodded. "Of course. I was your best friend. It was obvious."
