The question that changed my life

Chaper one...

Here I was laying on my bed scrolling on my phone checking out Lizzy's wedding pictures and guess what I was the brides maid.If they were to give an award for being a brides maid I would have  definitely  won.

I felt so annoyed and frustrated that am finally the only single one among my friends, I mean what's wrong with me, am definitely not ugly, am hard working, smart and I most definitely  make a good wife. My phone rang bringing me to reality, It was Claire calling, I huffed and picked the call.

Hey girl, she screamed happily.

Claire is always happy, always smiling, I guess that's why she was the first person among all my friends to get married and now she has a little baby girl whose the cutest thing ever, I wish I could have my own cute little baby girl. I heard another happy scream on the phone, I nearly threw my phone out of my hands, I was so lost in my thoughts, that when she screamed my heart pumped so fast.

Oh my goodness Claire, I nearly got a heart attack, I said to her, while holding my chest.

Stop being so dramatic Victoria Williams, your just twenty five, your not going to have a heart attack, she said, I guess she's rolling her eyes right now.

Whatever, so what's got you in such a really really happy mood, I asked.

Well you see my husband's cousin is back in town, he's single   and really hot, he's the type of guy that drive girls really crazy, she replied joyfully.

So... Your setting me up with him?  I asked.

Sort of, I already told him about you and he has agreed to go on a date with you.

What? I said shockingly.

Yes and the best part is that you guys are going on a date tonight,  she replied with another scream in my ear.

What? I said more shockingly, my eyes were almost out of my eye socket.

What am I going to wear, am not ready, I mean, what am I saying, am super ready, send me a pic of him real quick.  I happily said.

I'll do that asap. She replied.

With that the line got disconnected and within seconds my phone vibrated, I quickly glanced at the picture, he was really, really handsome, he looked like Liam Hemsworth, he was a hunk, from the picture I could tell that he has abs, I can't imagine what this man could do to me alone in the room.

Stop it Victoria, stop thinking dirty, this is no time for such dirty thoughts, I said to myself.

I quickly got up to take a really long shower, I shaved my legs, I made sure it was really smooth,  I washed my hair, then got out of the shower. I went to my closet, I really need to impress this guy, I need to look good, like really good, thank goodness I have a body of a model, I mean I work out five times a  week even if I don't show my amazing body to anyone.

I wore my pink Victoria Secret Pink matching underwear, I picked out my black fitted short sexy gown, it was below my thighs, I didn't want to look like a stripper, am trying to get the guy to date me and then get married to me not to get laid and have a one night stand.

I wore my gown, curled my hair, and applied some make up, I contemplated wearing my pink lipstick or the red one. They said red lipstick makes you come out as a strong and powerful woman, I didn't want to scare him away, well who cares he's a hunk anyways, he's not going to be scared. I applied my lipstick and put on my black heels, I took my red purse, picked my car keys and off I went. I wasn't going to be late for this date at all.

Luckily for me there wasn't any traffic, Claire had texted the address of the restaurant, it was our usual hangout, so it wasn't hard to reach.

I arrived and entered the fancy restaurant, there he was sitting down and screwing through his phone, he was so cute, am so lucky.

I smiled and walked to our table.
