A high squeal of happiness echoed through the mansion.

"WE. ARE. GETTING. A. PET?" Yoongi was actually up and awake this early so he could hear the news.

"Yes!! Your father said you all have to agree on one, though. So discuss this maturely." Your mother bowed and left the room.

Silence.

"WE SHOULD GET A FUCKING DRAGON!" Fire boy piped up, steam coming from his mouth.

"I think we should get an owl, they are wise." Namjoon nodded to himself.

"A horse! They are wild and free!" Hobi chirped.

"A llama! They are fluffy and are so sweet!(not)." Jin clasped his hands together.

"I think a koi fish would be cool!" Jimin smiled at the thought of swimming with the fish.

"Cats are lazy. I'm lazy. Match made in heaven" Yoongi sighed and laid down.

"I want a damn RAT! SQUEAK SQUEAK BIAATCHHH!" Jungkook stared losing his sanity, again.

Everyone looked at you, "what do you want?" They all said in usion.

".....a dog."

They all bursted out laughing, slapping their knees.

"What?! Dogs are cute, and active! They can play with Jungkook. Not only that, but they also like being lazy and eating food, Yoongi, they are intelligent, Namjoon, AND they are man's best friend." You crossed your arms after stating an entire essay as to why dogs are amazing and a good choice.

"But they're basic, (y/n)." Jungkook Pat your head.

"Are not!"

"Are too!"

"Not!"

"Too!"

"NOOOOOOTTTTTT"

"TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"NOOOO-"

"We are getting a dog!" Your mom walked in with a smile.

You sat up and did a victory dance, "YESSSSS!!"

Jungkook scoffed, "I wanted a rat."

All eight of you stood in front of the pet shop, some more exited than the others.

Clearly, you were the most exited.

"Alright, let's go in. Your father gave me money so we can buy a dog. Let's go, shall we?" Your mom smiled and walked into the pet shop, everyone trailing behind.

"Hello, welcome to pets and things, we hope you buy something because we want money." The worker at the front desk sighed and continued to play on his phone.

You squealed, heading to the back. Which is where the dogs usually are.

The boys dispersed through the store, looking at everything but the dogs.

Your walked down the wall which had the dog cages lined up on. The barks of wanting to be adopted engulfed your ears. It honestly made you sad you can only have one, and not all.

So you had to make a wise choice.

Finally making it to the end of the wall, this certain dog had caught your attention.

It's fluffy body waddled over to the glass that separated the two of you, placing it's paw on the cold glass.

Your eyes sparkled happily as you quickly felt a connection.
