Hoseok’s eyes were wide as he stared at the woman that he thought had been dead for the past five years, the woman that he supposedly killed.

“You’re d-dead,” he stammered out, now fighting the restraints on his arms and legs, this couldn’t be real, “I-I killed you! So whoever you ar-”

“Oh Hoseokie,” Jiyoo cooed, stepping closer to the male, who tried to back away from her touch only to be met with the back of a chair, “You didn’t kill me, I made you think you did.”

The silver haired male’s breath was knocked out of his throat, he couldn’t believe this was really Jiyoo, the woman he had considered a mother his whole life.

“If you’re really Jiyoo, then say something only her and I would know,” the male tested, the female looking up at the ceiling, she was thinking.

“Under your bed there is a loose floorboard where you keep pictures of you and your father, along with his necklace that he had given to you as a child,” she responded, and Hoseok was now terrified.

Only he and Jiyoo knew about that floor board, since she had loosened it up for him so he could keep the things there without anyone knowing. When Jiyoo touched Hoseok’s face, he didn’t lean into her touch like he usually would, he only tried to get her hand off his face.

He glared at the woman in front of him, “where have you been for the past five fucking yearѕ? Why did you make me think i killed you? What the fuck is this place and why am I here?”

Jiyoo smiled, pulling a chair to sit in front of Hoseok, “you know nothing about me honey, or the truth about anything.”

“Then enlighten me,” Hoseok seethed, now trying to fight the restraints on his arms without Jiyoo noticing.

The woman in front of him was definitely Nari and Jin’s mother, but, this wasn’t the woman that left five years ago.

“For one, i’ve been here the past five years, trying to find ways to locate every hybrid in the world, and clearly,” she gestured towards Hoseok’s hair, “it worked.”

“B-but why?” Hoseok questioned, staring at Jiyoo with wide eyes.

“Because Hoseok, controllers deserve to rule everything, not humans. Hybrid’s shouldn’t have to be hidden, controllers shouldn’t have to hide their abilities from the world. We should be able to embrace it,” Jiyoo expressed, staring at Hoseok hopefully.

“You sound like Bong-Chol,” the silver haired male stated, Jiyoo giggling.

“Oh honey, where do you think Bong-Chol got his ideas? Want to know a little secret,” Jiyoo giggled, going closer to Hoseok's ear, the male terrified, “Since I can control controllers, I controlled your father to do everything I told him too.”

She backed away from Hoseok afterward. The male’s mouth agape and tears brimming his eyes. Bong-Chol wasn’t the man everyone thought he was, he didn’t kill innocent people because he wanted to, he did because he was forced too.

By Jiyoo.

This woman let Hoseok’s father get killed for things she made him do, she ripped away the only family Hoseok had left just so she wouldn’t have to take the fall for it.

Hoseok didn’t even notice Jiyoo had begun speaking again until she mentioned the house.

“... so we need to try to disable your sight ability, unless you’ll be a dear and do it willingly for us. I need Nari and SeokJin here so they can be on board. Controllers need to dominate. Now, Hoseokie, will you help us and get rid of your sight ability?” she asked sweetly, Hoseok looking at her with hate, something he never thought he’d do.

“Fuck you!” he spat, “You’ll have to kill me to find that house.”

Jiyoo sighed, standing up, “we will not be killing you, you’re too powerful and we need you. But, we are going to get you to rid that ability of yours.”

With that she walked out.

Hoseok screamed at the top of his lungs, hating himself, his life, the fact that he was so oblivious and trusted Jiyoo with an open heart. He needed to do everything in his power to hide that house.

He needed to protect them.
