What started off as hey
Turned to everyday
You became my bestfriend
But then one day,just out of the blue
Our friendship began to end
And no matter how much I tried
Our relationship wouldn't mend
We continued to grow farther apart
I thought you were my bestfriend
So after all my tears and pain
I decided to let go
I cant try to salvage something
That doesn't want to grow
I will always love you
You will always be in my heart
But I can no longer be your bestfriend
It is tearing me apart
A/N-So lately I have been losing somebody who I thought would always be my bestfriend.I kept trying to fix our friendship but then I realized I cant fix something that doesn't want to be fixed,and trying to fix it was just breaking my heart.So this poem came to me when I decided that I needed closure,so that i can stop holding on to whats left of our broken friendship and just let it go.
