Promises

As we both go through this journey of new beginnings together, 

as we discover who we are and what we mean to each other, 

promise me this...

Promise me that we will never stop phangirling over phantom together

Promise me that your love for rock music will never go away

Promise me that through thick and thin, nothing will change between us

Promise that YOU will never change because of what people want you to become. The you that you are right now is the best you that you will ever be. You are not perfect, but that shouldn't matter. No one is perfect so why should you try to be that no one. You can never be better than you. 

Promise me that your love for McDonald's will live on as long as you live on and don't die from the unhealthiness of their food :)

Promise me that you won't ever get annoyed by my constant blabber of musicals because trust me, you haven't even seen me as i see a show! 

Promise me that you will always remember that no matter what, someone does care and someone will always be there for you. NEVER think anything otherwise.

Promise that although there are some differences, there are not nearly as many differences than there are similarities

Never stop being a nerd. I love it! We can be nerds together!

Never stop learning. If its a new instrument or a new skill, never stop. It will get you so far. 

Promise that you will never forget the trials that you have been through. Although they were hard, they are what have shaped you into who you are today. There is no need to forget what you have been through, they just need to belong in a little filing cabinet in your brain labeled "who I am". They do not define you. Don't let them define you.

A promise is a two sided thing. As long as the other person is promising along with you, a promise is true.

I promise with all of my heart that this will work. If not right at this moment, soon. Very soon. Trust me. We will get where we are meant to be. It all just takes time

I promise that I will always trust you. And I hope you will do the same.

I promise that I will still be who I am today for the rest of my life. I love who I am and never want it to go away. 

I promise that no argument will get too severe. I know I am an arguer but I will not let that change us. It is something I am always working on and I am more than willing to change that for you.

I promise that I will continue to love sappy love stories and songs. That just comes with my package ;)

I promise that no matter what, I will always believe in you. In Us. In what we are. 

I promise that we will become who we need to be for each other. Even if it takes a lot of work, we can do it. We can do the hard things in life as long as we put our minds to it and have some encouragement with us.
