She laid across her beach towel, her swimsuit fitted onto her bronzed, tan skin. Sunglasses blocking out the harsh sun, but not doing the same for her burning complexion. The sound of waves crashing onto the sand and children's voices breaking a silence that never existed. Summer memories flashed through her head like a movie, each and every one bringing a new emotion to her blank face. Flicking pictures in her head flew away as quickly as they came, making her long for him more. But she would never know. She would never know that he was watching flicking memories in his head, longing for her too.
