She walked along the beach slowly, sand spilling onto her feet and between her toes, the sun, burning her bronzed skin. Over her shoulder was her neon pink beach bag, swinging with every step she took. She glanced out to the crashing waves without noticing mothers nature's perils. She swung her bag off her shoulder and lay her towel across the hot sand. She slipped out of her long, tie-dye dress and unbuckled her sandals. Without a second glance around her, she raced to the water. As she ran, she felt as though something was about to happen. Good or bad, it was unclear to her, but she knew it would change her life. She stopped, turned and changed direction. She stepped over tidal pools and rocky edges until finally, she reached an opening in the rock.
