Athena's Point Of View

* * *

"What are we gonna do?" I asked staring down at my mate as he slept peacefully.

The night had passed and it was already the next night, a Wednesday.

"I don't know," Aphy sighed as she leaned against the counter and crossed her arms.

"I will never give up Jay, but the rogues are getting persistent. And then there's him. Our sweet Blue. Soon enough they'll figure out that we have a mate and come after him, too."

My eyes flamed.

"That will never happen." I say, my wolf rising to the surface.

I may not be as aggressive as my sister, but my wolf is another story.

"I know, sis, we will protect him." Aphy said softly.

There was a stirring from beside me and I quickly looked down.

My mate was the most beautiful creature to walk this earth.

There couldn't be anything more pure, and I couldn't wait to taint his innocence.

"Wake up, little mate." I whispered in his ear.

His eyes slowly opened.

He looked around.

W-where am I?" He asked panicked.

"You're at our house." Aphrodite says walking up to sit beside his head.

She then gently lifted it and sat it on her lap, running her hands through his hair slowly.

"Why am I h-here?"

"You passed out, sweetie." I told him.

"W-why would I-" He stopped mid-question and jumped away from us.

I panicked.

"What's wrong little one?"

"W-what are you?" He whispered and if we weren't wolves, we wouldn't have heard it.

"What do you mean?" Aphrodite asked cautiously, probably knowing exactly what he meant.

"I saw you. I saw you turn from wolf to human. Are you werewolves?"

I paled.

I had thought he passed out before that.

"Yes." We both mumble defeated and suddenly the smell of fear seeped into the air.

"Don't be afraid, Blue." I say desperately.

"Our wolves would never hurt you."

"C-Can I see?" He said, practically shaking.

We both nod and I stand up.

Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, I imagine myself in wolf form and quickly shift.

Blue gasps.

"Canary..." He says in awe.

I bark as an acknowledgement and lay in front of him as a sign.

The ball was in his court.

Suddenly Blue ran over to me and hugged me.

"Canary!" I'm so sorry that I got scared the other day, you were only trying to protect me." He said stroking my fur.

My wolf purred in pure bliss.

I could stay like this forever...

And I would have had their not been pack problems to deal with.

Can you get him? I need to shift back.

Aphy nodded.

"Come little one. You must be hungry."

Blue got up and walked over to her obediently as I shifted back naked.

As I stood and stretched out my muscles (being in wolf form can cramp you sometimes) Blue turned back around.

His gasp was the only thing heard as the room silenced.

The reddest blush took over his face after starting for a couple moments too long before he covered his face in his hands.

I smirked as I walked towards him.

"You don't like what you see?" I ask seductively.

"I do." He answered quickly "I-I mean n-no. I mean." I moved his hands from his face only to find his eyes closed.

"You can look, you know. That body is all yours." Aphrodite told him, grabbing a hand and laying it on my chest.

"W-What?" He asked nervously as his eyes traveled my body.

"You wanna feel?"

Blue seemed to be in a trance as he stared.

I took that as a yes.

I smirked as Aphrodite slowly dragged his hand down my body.

Right before his hand could reach my apex, however, he quickly snatched it away.

"Aw, you're such a tease." I whine.

I'll take him to the kitchen so that you can get dressed.

I nod

Walking up to our room and the attached bathroom I turn the water on cold and step under it.

The water shoots bullets into my back as I close my eyes and think about my mate.

I wonder, will he accept us for who we are?

Or will he run like I've seen other human-beast mates do?

Cleaning myself and turning off the water, I dry off and get dressed before making my way downstairs.
